Screen tearing happens when the game updates the screen while it's being drawn. This makes a horizontal line across the screen, splitting the new frame and the old frame. Most noticeable in action games with lots of motion. Vsync is the fix for screen tearing. The game waits for the screen to finish its business before making a new image. This results in smoother motion, but adds a slight delay to player input. Bloom is the glowing effect around bright lights, to simulate a color brighter than pure white.

In his defense none of his jokers were good enough to justify it. If Blueprint copied the additional effects as well (holo, foil, poly) instead of just the vanilla joker abilities that'd be one thing, but he was so early in the game it was more important for him to find a joker that'd actually pull him through than to invest in the Blueprint. If he had a better set of early jokers it might've tempted him more and then he'd have seen the glory of Blueprint lmfao

'Royal Straight' is a thing but it's called 'Broadway'. Just the best Straight you can have without it being a straight flush, same way royal flush is just the best possible straight flush. Neither are actual hands within any poker game (that I know of).

I think it's fair to say they are actual hands because poker doesn't have points and multipliers. A royal flush is a better hand than any other straight flush and poker only cares about rank. It's not in the game because it isn't a unique hand format, but it's still worth more than all the other straight flushes.

A royal flush is just a straight flush with max base value. It's the same in this game as in real poker lol--Ace through 10 all have base points of 10, which means that barring any joker rules, a royal flush is literally just the max value straight flush. Five of a kind, on the other hand, is QUITE a hand. You need a very high level bonus for any hand to beat 5 10s (or Aces, but not face cards because that doesn't get you the bus bonus)

This is a great game but the balance is a bit off. It feels like you need one of like 3 or 4 jokers (the bus one, the buy a joker every time one...) to really keep up with the scaling. They need to either come up with a way to make more busted builds or tone down the overall scaling and those few busted jokers.
