I can see this working a couple times per game, but you can't abuse it. As you can see from the clips in the beginning, there are guys who are WIDE open and you're very susceptible to a quick pass with major YAC.

The base 4-3, 6-1 is awesome. But yes mixing in cover 4 quarters, man blitz, Cover 3 zone blitz, and regular Tampa 2 from the same pre snap look is deadly.

I cant lie that cover 2 blitz pressure is great but youd have to be careful of what sets you use it on, quick slants would give me the option to quick pass left or right where theres no coverage and the user wouldnt be able to cover both sides with no help in the middle i like the alignment you get with this formation though this video kinda makes me want to build a 6-1 scheme

@@derrickd4307 lmao i just added it to my scheme because suprisingly it has all the plays i normally use and played a game i normaly only run nickel normal and sam but this seemed like a cool way to get pressure i used it for the first quarter and fell down by 10 and just went back to my original nickel scheme and ended up winning by 20 😂 it gives good pressure esp the 0 blitz but a little easier for faster qbs to escape the pocket (which everyone loves doing online) since you cant contain the outside backers and the DEs are so pinched they dont contain well, i chalked it up as a backup scheme incase my nickel scheme isnt getting enough pressure, shouldnt be used as a primary scheme and def shouldnt use against a lamar kyler or josh allen

Best way of stopping the people running pa boot over is from a dime 2-3-6 Spread D line and linebackers/ contain The offense can’t double team the D ends from that formation You are responsible for everything in the middle though. Nobody will roll out that’s for sure , current or the new gen

This setup can be done from just about any zone in the formation. So if you mix up coverage and uniform the plays look presnap, this is the only d you need because you can do it from multiple coverages
