Funny thing... I heard this on the radio the other day (an NPR affiliate) and it really got to me- especially the crescendo at the end. I had to look it up to see who the choire was...the diction was unmistakable. All these years later, and boy-o-boy does it apply right now. May, 2020.

Just bought the album as well as the CD "Last Choir standing". When listening to the last one it is obvious that Only Men Aloud was simply the best. This is my favourite song together with Kissed from a rose.

You clearly have no appreciation for the complex and beautiful harmonies the MD managed to put together for the guys to sing the way they did. I just heard these guys sing live and they are brilliant. Performing live they are much better than here. It was a stunning performance from a group of bright young lads, couldnt have been better. I was amazed at the power these guys have in person that does not come out in the video.

What a performance - but what a song! Always amazes me that when finals come most performers choose dud songs. Why not more of - You are so beautiful - If loving you is wrong - Love is all I have to give - My Yiddishe Mama etc etc. Songs that make your hair on the neck stand up!!

Every year a major organization polls hundreds of thousands of ppl as to what the most offensive words in the English language are. This years #1 "winner" was - WHATEVER ppl with little respect for others, and just spout off say... whatever They are probably all Welsh. Listening to them talking it seems so. But, maybe someone snuk in who is not. I listened to every song on KZbin by them They are really good. I have been tn 7 choirs, 2 were professional choirs. SMOOTH!!

Technically brilliant...perhaps even perfect. The dramatic walk at the end was also a nice touch, combining theatrics with mechanics (to sound louder as they walk toward the mics)....but I can't help but feel there was something missing that groups like ACM, or Ysgol provide in spades which makes them that much more enjoyable to listen to.
