'Only option Putin gave us': Siberian Battalion in Ukraine joins the fight against the Kremlin

Coming to Ukraine to fight his fellow Russian citizens was the only option left for a Siberian Battalion soldier with the callsign "West". The fighter in his thirties says he felt he had to take the decision because unarmed protests in Russia against the war "are not working." Established in the early summer of 2023, the volunteer Siberian Battalion is a part of the International Legion within the Ukrainian armed forces. Its soldiers are a varied group - both ethnic Russians and members of minority ethnic groups.

Good luck with that. Almost 90% Russia support Putin. 8.5% don't want anything about war 1.5% want to fight Putin. Where's in Ukraine 35% wants the war to end, 30% especially in the east Ukraine already have joined Russia. The 35% is the one trying hard to fighting to the last Ukrainian.
