Hi Bex’s and Chris. Bex you are doing a magnificent job with all of your plumbing work, one suggestion would be the use of bigger diameter tubes literally going the length of your Boat, you can then use these tubes as conduit for whatever pipe and cables you need ( 4" tubes,it depends how you want to do it but if you have 2 one side and 1 the other you then have conduit for pipe work and cable a plenty). Regarding your ballast, personally I would seriously consider removing all of the higgledy piggledy bits and pieces of concrete/slab/rock ? And replacing it with some 4" or 6" drainage tubes cut to length for each compartment in the bilge and filled with Swarf ( metal shavings from a local metalworking factory or fabrication place ) and you then Seal the tubes with screw on end caps….. weigh each one and write the weight on the actual tubes but make a separate note of where the tubes are in the bilge…..that way if your boat is a little bit heavier ( sitting heavy ) at the front or back you can look at where you have what weight and move it around a lot easier because you have a ' Plan ' and because of it being in tubes it’s easier to move ( and wedge in place ). When you fill each tube with the metal shavings( swarf ) give each tube a squirt of expanding foam ( YOU don’t need a lot ( so keep Chris away from that job lol 😂 ). You use 4" or 6" depending on how much of a gap you have in your bilge but be careful as the gap isn’t always exactly 6" and take into consideration the thickness of the floor etc. It makes life a lot easier for when you say : refit the kitchen and you get that weight shift or even when you get a new bed or sofa etc ! It’s amazing how much difference in the weight distribution on the boat a sofa can make an rather than having a tilting or listing boat you can just move the tubes around under the floor and distribute the weight perfectly 🤷♂️. I told someone about this Tip and they tried it out because they always had problems with the back of the boat sitting down heavy and the front light, because of that they were always getting leaks in the front of the boat, when they moved the weight distribution by using the tubes the boat sat perfectly in the water from then on !! It took them a while with trial and error but they were refitting their boat with New kitchen and bathroom etc. Poor Chris….. he really doesn’t like Spiders does he ?. Best not to mention to him that no matter where we are we are always actually only 6' away from a Spider 🕷️ 😱. Spiders don’t like Cinnamon ( why in a lot of houses you have cinnamon sticks in bunches hanging up ) but one of the best things to keep spiders away is Lavender !. It’s why our Nana’s used to have Lavender pouches everywhere in their bedroom,to keep Spiders away 🤷♂️. Smells nice too !!. Another Great Video Guys ❤

Chris you’re not giving yourself a lil pat on the back for putting in the hours editing your adventures and THE most excellent cover cleaning 👌🏻I’m surprised you didn’t get titan involved in vacuuming all the cobwebs on the covers- I’m also scared silly by them and have always resorted to vacuuming them up and asking a friend to go empty them outside 🙄😆(the crazy things you do for the fear🤣😂) Bless you Bex for somehow having the patience of a saint and being uber flexible doing all the pipework. I can imagine you’re both going crazy having to move everything out of the way to get the work done. Keep going you’re getting there 🤗🤗

If you can not attach the new pipe to the old one , to pull them both through .Try attaching some cord to the old pipe before pulling it through and use that to pull the new pipe through 😊 The same goes with any replacement wire’s .
