6:34 he's saying the water bottle liquor is "Kampuchea" which means Cambodia. He's inferring that it's what Cambodians drink. It's either rice wine or palm wine. And yes, it's very common out in the countryside for people to start drinking around noon, because they probably woke up at 4am and been working out in the rice paddy until it was too hot. "Chol Mouy" means "hit one" or cheers.

I’ve been in Cambodia many times. People are genuinely friendly and kind and the Cambodian kids are generally very polite. We were there and ask school kids ( about 10 year old) for a direction, they bowed to us when we said good bye.
