its really not, do you realize they play on the last patch of classic ? catch up naxx patch ? were every item is buffed to infinity (classes too) and pre raid bis better than the old "real" mc/bwl gear ? the raids where never designed to be cleared with full worldbuffs, they were disigned to be hard with all the OLD gear and OLD specs. the difference between no buffs and ALL the buffs is so fucking crazy, also if you just petri/lip EVERY MISTAKE, also you can ignore alot of dangerous mechanics by just using petri ..and drink fire res/nature res potions or whatever on cooldown u literally almost cant die to anything. most mechanics are designed to be dangerous if u have like idk .. 3k hp, with worldbuffs/buffs etc everyone has like 5k+ hp add all this absorb potions to it and ur literally almost immortal. its no hard at all, the only "hard part" is farming all the gold and consumes, but thats were swiping comes in, you just buy all the gold and let others farm your stuff, its not impressive at all. like go and watch that apes molten core world first vid, they cleard it with like 10ppl not even lvl 60 almsot no consumes, no worldbuffs, shit lvling gear and they didnt even wipe once and cleard it in like 2 hours or somehting. *just to give you some numbers: mage FULL tier 1set raidgear +setbonus was like 146spelldamage, a PRERAID bis mage in naxxpatch has 300 spelldamage. a full t1 heal priest had about 100healing from the set, a PRERAID naxxpatch priest has about 700. and thats not even 1.0 or 1.1, i think thats 1.5 or somehting where they buffed t1, the early t1 as a mage for example had like 1/2 fire damage 1/2 ice damage or some shit it was even worse. the point is, ppl step in molten core, with gear thats basicly as good as old t1+t2 decently geard char. than even get full worldbuffs before, like back than, ppl did like maybe 1/3 of the damage and healing maybe even 1/4, specially healing was way different, try healing with 100healpower you really had to time your heals, be efficient about it. modtern "classic wow" is nothing like the real classic wow but most ppl dont even know. everyone is like "eheheh classic is easy lululul" it wasnt even that easy, try raiding with 1/3 or 1/4 the damage/Healing and without worldbuffs and shitty talent trees. id be totally down to play the real classic once more, maybe even on hc with no worldbuffs, that would be fun. but this "modern classic" is nowhere near how the real classic was. *edit found a site with actual t1 (1.13) sets the og ones, the FULL t1 mage set had like 20 frost spelldamage, rest of the spelldamage was arcane or fire :3 web.archive.org/web/20050207005357/wow.allakhazam.com/db/itemset.html?setid=201 + all the oter sets www.reddit.com/r/classicwow/comments/dfhw5o/what_each_class_tier_1_sets_looked_like_5_months/

Community overall's good enough for the pug life. Also gives a reason to go back and do old content when you outgear it. Free extra gold.

Here I am selling every green item I loot for 20 silver profit, trying to scrape together enough gold for a mount at lvl 40, while these streamers are throwing out thousands of gold left and right, while simps are just opening trade and giving hundreds of gold for 4 seconds of 'fame'.. A random 'thanks bro, ah that saved me bro, what a chad!' then 3 sec later they will literally forget your name, lol. I find the content entertaining, I just cant wrap my head around why simps just gladly hand over their gold. They are working hard, or paying for their gold, only to give it away to these streamers so they can play the game easier than you ^^ The swipe is real boiz!

This doesn't count as a real guild raid. The first real raid is MC. Any of the members are allowed to run AQ20 and ZG with other guilds. All this is considered "pre-raiding". The guild members are NOT allowed to run MC (or higher) with other guilds. They are not allowed to buy or trade for items from MC (or higher).

The raid leader distributes the gold he got from 'selling' the items among the group. The point of that system is that everyone leaves with something. Kitty points will be used in molten core afaik.

Fun fact, you can get Crystal of Zin-Malor which is a quest item, which is a trinket that deals dmg over time that u can use to solo tank Ossirian without having to worry about having 2 tanks. However, if u have this trinket equipped and use a flightpath, you instantly die, which is a weird bug but it will kill your character nevertheless.

This is a very popular way to run pugs now even in retail wow to the point that trusted raid leaders that run these are payed huge amount of gold to host them and they pay to get into specific discord groups full of whales.

I personally did guild runs with guildies and friends and we normally /roll things out (since the whole DKP thing sorta faded out?) before blizzard forced everyone to do personal loot for reasons we heard about but was never a victim of. This system sounds really cool, cuz I didn't realize the auction gold goes back to the raid and that's what was happening at the end there. Not perfect, but I have a slightly better opinion on it. If it works it works! But not for every raid for sure lol

This is the dumbest, most capitalistic way of distributing loot. It should be instead a coordinated effort of enforcing who gets what based upon the role each member plays. This should've been a collective discussion to identify who would benefits the most from an upgrade and who is best suited for that armor type, if its too close to call and neither side will yield, then it goes to a roll. Its absurd that onlyfangs is operating such an anarcho-capitalist model of exploiting its guild. Leave that to Roach Out. Even the vanilla model of loot distribution is more ethical than this.
