It's called keeping everything calm and under control
@RikkiestAndTikkiest7 ай бұрын
It's because they're actually cooperating; instead of screaming, fighting, spitting, rolling all over the ground, running away, or being a bone headed nuisance. Most cops are super chill if you are, they want an easy day at work just like everyone.

Because it's a high profile case and they're seemingly wealthy individuals involved.

Imagine the situation. Local LEO comes to serve a warrant. The individual is Calm, hearing the words and trying to understand the situation but remaining cooperative. The couple claims to be using their 5th amendment right. Easy Peasy no one getting squeezied (by hand cuffs and cops. Who knew? If they did what they are accused of, who knows?

Must be nice to be rich enough for the cops to baby you like that. Just wow.

It’s probably because these people are known and or respected in the community etc. and the police that are there really don’t believe it’s as serious as the charges.

This is a BS charge, that’s why.. She wasn’t charged for months if not over a year, what happened during that time is not a crime? The parents gave the laptop to the attorneys to give to the authorities during that time….public opinion on the parents is bananas.

@ness73426 ай бұрын
Ain’t that the truth. Mental healthcare system is basically a part of the justice system now so even more useless than ever unless you actually do have a criminal history. There should be a separate one for people who don’t have criminal backgrounds or maybe a separate system for people who voluntarily go for help. But then the ones they send people with criminal history to or forced treatment would become even worse with no witnesses. It’s almost like we shouldn’t lock people up for having illnesses.
