Innsbruck Christmas Market Street Food w/ Hot Wine

Welcome to the fourth market in the Central Europe Christmas market adventure series! - INNSBRUCK, Austria. This is one of the best. Innsbruck is a city but feels very much like a small town.
Domonique is from Augsburg but is also a good friend and specialist of Christmas Markets! I’m so happy he came with us to share his knowledge on street food and Gluhwine (mulled wine) at this market!

I live in a city north of Toronto and the earliest European settlers in our community were German from Philadelphia (First Nations way before them) in the late 1700s. There’s an old carriage stone heritage house that my next door neighbour lives in, in my neighbourhood (they have a plaque about the history of the original owner). Also originally built by a German settler from Philadelphia. Very common back then for them to move here to farm the land.

I’ve heard great things about Berlin’s markets too! But we’re sticking to the south this time, just left Innsbruck for Vienna. Germany is an extraordinary country 🇩🇪 especially at Christmas!!
