Then if you upgrade to a larger TV you have to re-install the mount. Probably better to size things for an 86" TV (the upper range supported by this mount).

Hi! I have the Ultra Slim version of this mount. I am a little confused on one step. Once the TV is placed onto the wall mount, is there a clamp to secure the mount? My model has two screws to tighten at the bottom, but the instruction manual says there is supposed to be a clamp. Want to make sure my TV is not gonna fall off haha.

Not sure, because you have a different wall mount. From the pictures I found online it does not look like it has a clamp. Hope you find the answer to your question.

I don't have a 40 inch TV that I can try to mount on it. If I did I would check it out for you. My suggestion is stick with the 19 to 50 inch tv wall mount.

I just bought an 86" TV and was thinking about using this mount. The TV weighs 120 lbs and this mount says it supports up to 120 lbs. Should I buy this or buy another with a larger capacity?

I would buy another one that goes up to at least 150 lbs. If someone pulls down on the TV after it is mounted that would add additional weight. Better to be safe.

I'd go higher weight capacity, usually they underrate the specs for safety and liability. However I would not risk damaging the very expensive 86" TV. Spend the extra, you'll be happy.

Make sure you have wooden studs in your wall and use them to attach the wall mount. You should be fine if you do this.

This wall mount has a built in level. I would start there to see if it shows level. If it does not show level, then you might consider taking it down and re-drill new holes for remounting. There is also an adjustment mentioned in the installation manual that will allow you to change the horizontal position of your TV plus or minus 4 degrees.

It's cutting it close, but I think it should work with the mounting holes near the edge. I've seen some installations use a board (2 by 4) when there is a large gap between studs. That could be a backup plan for you.
