It's a very stupid story. Ready? We got him as a baby. Babies are sweet and very chill. No personality yet at all. So we were like, ut oh. How are we going to name him?? We could call him Ceasar but he might end up to act like a Goober. See? A week passed and we could not agree. My husband go to frustrated one night, he said if I he was going to name him right there. Onyx. Um. Onyx is know to be black. He was SO frustrated he said, well his eyes are black. I'm keeping it. Good lord, help me. That's when I said, I know! Onni!. He said yes. And later a Finnish friend told me it's a common name meaning luck and happiness of there. That's the story and I'm sticking to it. If you've read this far, thanks. LOL

@@RebeccaStout I loved the story. I have an African Grey. He is going to be 22 next month. I had know idea how long they lived and the work. Be honest I never would have gotten a parrot. He is all I have left. Family all gone. Would never part with him like other parrot owners do. His name is Apache. Grey's are the talkers. Live your videos especially with Alexa lol.
