7:30, if I had a board that could do this speed consistently but on A/T wheels....Kaly NYC, Lacroix, Trampa, Baja Board, Metroboard X. I own both Evolve GTRs, Kaly XL 40, metroboard X, and a boosted stealth. There comes a time when you realize that boards like the boosted boards, and Evolve boards just aren’t enough for an experienced rider who likes to go fast and go far. I am very grateful for beginning on the boosted stealth and my GTRs, but if I’m being honest, after riding the metroboard and Kaly, the other boards now feel like toys. I’m selling my GTRs to first time buyers as they are amazing entry level boards that don’t go that fast. I’ve geared my GTRs to go quick, but the tiny motors cannot handle the gears and overheat very quickly. You two would thoroughly enjoy the Kaly. It’s clearly what you’re seeking. I can cruise at 40+ especially comfortably with the new 200 x 50 fattie tires. Go ahead and level up gentlemen and retire those double kingpin truck boards :)

Really nice review 🙌🏼 The faster you go the louder it gets 😉 Acceleration is also adjustable with different pulleys of course. ABEC + 97mm wheels for example and you have the same acceleration as some other brands. We will send you some accessories soon. Would also make more sense Vs Evolve with the same wheels..

First ride on my Onsra Black carve, I had two small paint chips on the underside of deck. Presumably from gravel kicking up from the front wheel even though I was on a paved road. I wonder what it will look like in a few months. However, I really love this board.

Riptide bushings! Excellent quality and feel. Their pivot cups are also a must have. Get some harder duro for the upper joint and softer for the lower (though on each individual section I like a softer above for cushion and harder under for spring return) you'll want to vary based on your weight. Might want to buy a few to mix and match til you get the right feel. Orangatang nipples are nice too.

What wheels are you using, the 97s or 115s? And I agree a "dead mans switch" is a good thing to have. On my evolve I have to turn it off as the remote isn't terribly good for long hands. Makes everything else quite hard to be precise holding their one down. Hope they make a wheel remote.

I use the 115 mm rubber wheels on my bamboo GTR with 38T pulleys. I totally get what Chris says about what cloud wheels should have been, As you said, no wheels are perfect but I love these for being a perfect compromise since I do not want to put pneumatic bicycle wheels on my skateboard.Not interested in an Onsra board though.Not going back to the 107s even though I loose some range with these.

165LB rider and I threw on some venom 97A bushings and it made my ride more enjoyable personally. I had the stock bushings pretty tightened and the board was still too Carvy for me 😅 (I’m new to double kingpin) always used Paris and bear Trucks.

I feel like the reason so many people don't like DKP trucks is because of the stock bushing setups they typically come with.

juggernaugh75321 I can see that. It’s not that I didn’t like them they were just way different to me coming from traditional reverse kingpin to double but right after I changed my bushings out I’m having a way more enjoyable time and getting more used to the trucks.

Hi guys, thanks for a great vid. I'm very interested the rubber wheels. As you continue riding and testing the Onsra board could you please take notice/measurements as to how quickly the wheels wear down. I've heard some rubber wheels wear out rather quickly due to their extreme softness. I'd also like to get your opinion on ride comfort, and the effect they have on range. Maybe (if possible) do a range comparison against PU street wheels of a similar size. Maybe a whole separate vid with cloud (your favorite... Haha) vs. Rubber vs. PU... Just a thought. I really enjoy your content, keep 'em coming!!! Stay safe guys, and please wear a helmet.

Raldey customer service is like talking to a wall, absolutely horrendous!! There telling me they knowingly sent me a board that goes 18mph for safety reasons. That made me promise to wear protective gear and not to hold them responsible if I get hurt.. they literally used the word promise. So I pinky promised them and asked pretty please with a cherry on top to send me the correct pullies to make the board do the advertised speed of 26-29mph. Wich by the way is what the board is doing all over KZbin, I had to be the lucky one to get a dud 18mph board!!! Actually two boards, I bought one for my 11 yr old to ride together. Took me a lil bit to actually learn how to ride well enough to hit the top speed ,even at 18mph. But now that I’m a pro(joking) I wanna go faster!! 18 barly makes your hair move.... Whats ur guys thoughts and did anyone else go threw anything even close to this crazy story!! Un Freekin believable,

Raldey is absolutely bonkers!! I purchased two boards from them 2weeks ago, and finally getting the hang of riding and I noticed hey.... I’m only going 18 mph. So after reaching out to Raldey they said they knowingly send out slower boards until you promise to wear protective gear and not hold them responsible if I get hurt!! They actually used the word promise!! Now they want to send me high speed pullies. I don’t even think this is the problem, because the board only hits 18 even going down hill. It feels like the board is shutting off once it hits 18. If it was the gearing wouldn’t the board be able to go faster down a steep hill. Anyway they don’t agree at all and want me to try the other pullies. Then I find out there’s a updated board that they won’t even admit exists.There newest board has 4 speeds not 3 like mine, and says 5000 watts of power not 3000 like mine, and a bigger battery that mine doesn’t have.. so I want the upgraded board, wouldn’t you!! I’m pretty sure the guy on here sk8te or die has the board I’m talking about and even went out of his way to make a second video of his better than mine board!!! Lol Sorry for ranting but I can’t make this sh!? up man, only me I swear!!

I'm not spending more then 1000.00 Euros, I'm 46 years and a little overweight...I usually ride with my 11 year daughter a dancing longboard. So I'm not quit experiente but I ride a lot of time in my youth. I'm riding just for fun, just cruising around, need stability on the board, its a major for me and a good post sale support, I have o lot of climbs and big climby roads in my area...
