Also glad to hear you mention that the evolve used on comparison video before needs to go to customer service. My gtr works great and doesn't get very hot so I knew something was wrong. I’d like to know the temp after a hill climb vs Revel. Looks like the temp reading was still going up, after you read “49!” Why not have a 4x4 DD option, for those that live on Streep hills? Less strain on individual motors + higher hill climb %. Plus, with AWD, you can use Janux Quattro for 6” or 7” air filled, comfortable tires.

Noisy skateboards have good points and bad points. They sort of ruin the ambiance of the trail... But in crowded situations boardwalks in town. They work to let people know you're coming up on them... Instead of ringing a horn or Bell... I scored a very cheap brand new electric skateboard. Super stoked. I almost bought your (fab board). It's a good deal on a stronger better board...but I so low on cash.to replace my blinkS2... So went for 200$ board.

It is direct drive not hub, they are both good. direct deive requires less maintenance, they are way more silent and they are less hot but they have less torque and if you change wheel size you will not be able to change gear ratios while the belt have more torque and you are able to match the power with any wheel size by changing the gears but they are loud, high maintenance and hotter. also you can see that the deck of the belt is longer, wider and more flexible while the direct is the opposite. hope I answered yout question.

Yup , the rubbr wheels are def. Soft and strong at the same time . I didn‘t even note that they are with Aluminium core when i ordered them 🤣 . The range might be a little less than the cloudwheels but when i wanna ride more like allterrain i def. Switch to them . They are almost noisy like the 97‘ ... cloudwheels are way louder but not that much . Got 43km/h with rubberwheels (on 10S BC) . You rock buddy

@@Triall00 i guess you mean the black rubber wheels with aluminium rims , they are strong and soft at all terrain but they will def reduce the range a bit ,but its ok . I prefer to ride the cloudwheels and not faster than 30km/h ,its really dangerous stuff and ain t worth it to end up in hospital or 6feet under ,even a protection kit will not provide a safe way of elektric skateboarding .

The direct drive motors are so close to the ground. I don’t see them being less maintenance. If a motor goes bad it will be easier to replace a outrunner motor vs a direct drive imo.

@@enjoyesk8978 Being low to the ground is both exaggerated (that only meant something back when boards were often running smaller wheels under 90mm). Clearance hasn’t been an issue for awhile now. As for maintenance - it’s hella easier. I’m constantly keeping crap out of my belts. Also I love the absolute quiet of dd.

good lord it's beautiful there. I'd be out cruising every day. Around 6 min you say "It's a carbon fiber board, I know the difference". What do you mean by that, is the ride smoother? rougher?

It’s a lot rougher.. Also you hear the carbon during your rides i personally don’t like it. The wooden deck + carbon enclosure is much much better

can you use a d shaped motor shaft so the pulley won't slip? Most pulleys start to slip on round motor shafts after some hard riding.

Just using math I'd guess the 12s3p would have roughly 10% less range than the 10s4p pack with the same cells. Your acceleration and climb will be out of this world though!

The Rubber wheels just give you an even better riding feeling depends a little where you ride. 115mm wheels are currently sold out. Next stock should be here in two weeks

Cloudwheel 105mm or TB 100mm. But you would need to consider if the wheels are too big if there is wheel bite.
