Ontario Rat 1 Review; Is Super Late Better Than Never?

This was my daily driver for over ten years. Beat up, resharpened, never failed. Now I keep looking at the S35VN model on BladeHQ and debating getting back with this knife. Still has my favorite, most ergonomic grip shape, comfortable in any grip.

My first Rat was a 2 in D2. I lost it to airport security in Laos when I stupidly forgot to put it in my luggage. I replaced it with a 2 in Aus 8. I got a 1 in D@, and then another 2 in s35vn. I love the3 ergos of the knife, and I'll be a fan for a long long time!

I was late to the party too. My first was the S35VN version about 4 months ago. I now have 4 Rat 1’s. They’re a brilliant EDC knife. I take one to work daily.
