Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

No, but work that lure a bit and it tangles with the leader. Happens a lot. I don't use them for this reason, but a mate of mine puts up with it. Hence the nickname we have. McTangle.

Love your vids guys but, having recently lost a McHybrid on the first session, I cannot endorse anyone spending that much money on a lure! Losing £17 this way stung. I believe you get freebies from Berkely and Abu Garica, and know you're generous in giving them out in your videos, but £15-20 for 1 lure is pretty crazy unless you're sure you won't get it snagged. (I actually got it snagged twice, the first time was about 7 feet out so I got down to underwear and waded in to retrieve - that's how much is on the line when you pay so much for the lure!!)
