That green landing gear light was so obviously rigged for the drama. The outside camera made sure to film the plane at an angle where you couldn't see the landing gear, which was likely perfectly fine.

Ahh yes, trim, a primary flight control that send your plane doing uncontrollable backflips if it failed. The trim failing is really just an inconvience, nothing all that dangerous.

Although the headwind speeds can very somewhat they should still know they have a headwind and should already calculate for that with fuel burn. you always want to leave an extra hour in the plane and try to never violate that. If your trip eats into that extra houryour taking on extra risk!. These guys are pros and for them to simply run out fuel on a ferry flight would be all on them!. No excuses fuel starvation =Pilot error! As far as the windshield heater goes you mean that those so called pros didn't check that before they left? Doesn't sound very professional to me? Find out halfway through the flight?

Aviation isn’t in meters or kilometers except in China and like two other small Asian countries. If you’re trying to do it right use miles for distance and feet for flight level. You know, like every pilot on the planet does and 99% of the aviation world does.

@DavidB-tq4go3 жыл бұрын
@@marremarre523 …lol, as a pilot I’m very familiar with “prop planes” and only the smallest will fit in a 40’ container. Also, gotta pay to remove the wings, gotta rent the container, pay for the shipping then pay to have the wings and all related systems reinstalled. You’re looking at big bucks to do that with a twin because of the engines, hydraulic systems for the landing gear, fuel lines and electrical wiring. Even a single engine with retractable gear still has all of those connections. There’s a helluva lot more to it than just “yanking off the wings.” Also, what about the rudder? If it’s too tall it has to be removed also. I’ve transported my share of airplanes, even had a few imported to the states. Container shipping is far more expensive than a ferry pilot.
