Do you really want to know the answer to that ? Are you SURE you want to know the answer ? It's because the political Left has completely taken over our entire education system and therefore the quality of education has declined horribly. The Left is far more interested in propagating their history revisionism and their hate-America-ism than they are in teaching basic literacy -- or anything else, like math. Here are just a few illiterisms I've seen and heard in the last decade or two that virtually did not exist at all in American society previously. 1) "Supposably." Even after I showed one young man the actual word "supposedly" in the dictionary, he refused to say or spell the word correctly. 2) "Could of," and "should of." How THE HELL can anyone graduate high school and still be writing and saying that ? 3) "Butt naked." Oy vey. The idiom is "buck naked." 4) "Perogative." That is not a word. The word is PRErogative. 5) "Ball-faced lie." The idiom is BALD-faced lie. 6) Confusing "then" with "than" . . . ALL. THE. TIME. 7) "Had went." I always want to say, "It's 'HAD GONE,' you illiteramus. Where the hell you from . . . Arkansas ? Are your parents cousins ? Conjugate your damn verbs." There are many others that I can't recall on the spur of the moment. I should start a list.

' ie: showing pilots as risk-taking morons, with a whole lot of invented drama. Much the same formula as plenty of other junk 'reality' tv. Some of these shows could actually be interesting, if they stuck to actual reality. Most likely they're 'risking their lives' about as much as a taxi driver. Aside from the stupidity of this concept, why would a new owner want to risk someone potentially destroying their plane before they even deliver it? Obviously the channel didn't make this show, and just licensed it(presumably relatively cheaply as it was made some years ago), but it's still annoying.
