it is a very simple process to change the pads if you take the time to go step by step. Once you've done it, you realize that it is easy to do and should be done often as we rely so much on our front brakes.

Brilliant and informative ... I just spent the last 5 years putting pads in first and then fiddling with the spring plate and pin. Great stuff. I could watch your vids all day - the Mrs doesn't seem to understand the attraction though ! Cheers.

it is an individual choice made and I leave the brakes as is and include heat shields when I can if they fit.

What is a simple change of just front brake pad on a fazer cost? So I was quoted upwards of 300 closer to 400 they said to order part and change just the front as well as oil change. And i just want to make sure that is a fair price. But I don’t know anyone where I live to ask Great video btw

@postatstickybiznez no matter the types of brakes whether radial, 2 4 or 6 piston calipers or not, the process is exactly the same! Dave Moss Host

yes - all simple steps that apply to all brakes calipers. You just have to see if you have pins or bolts (and set torque on the bolts correctly). Dave Moss Host

Hallo dave, is the replace of presser plate needed in a track bike ?

Hey Dave, during trackdays, I see some of bikes with the pressure plates removed. Is it true that this makes the wheel free spin faster therefore its better?

I can see why the mrs doesn't make the connection, but as long as I don't get a "Dear Dave" email it should all be good. Thanks for watching! Dave Moss Host
