How to Fix PS5 Stuck in Safe Mode with Only Option 7 (Try THIS FIX!)

Try clearing cache , than will restart again in same screen, than do rebuild data base and will start again as normal …. That’s how I did mine. But you gonna have to turn on your ps5 pressing the on button until you hear the second beep, because it wouldn’t let me choose any other options besides #3 & #7 and wouldn’t work

Try to get into safe mode manually by pressing the start button on you ps5 and hold the press button till you hear two beeps

this is one thing i miss about xbox is you don't have to worry about this issue. Cause not all the time you are forcing you're self to take out the wire. This been happening me a lot cause where i live we have been getting lot of power outages. But thanks for this i always give a like button for these kinds of help. If anyone else is having troubles with this as i did. U have to hear the second button when holding the button to turn on and than all the settings will be available to you.

This happened to me when the power went out and I was stuck in Option 7, thankfully holding down the button till you hear the 2nd beep allowed me to have all options available but only Option 6 worked for me which is basically like Option 7 but without using a usb to download the reinstallation which thank god I didn’t had to actually do it cause Option 6 was quicker

No lads think is a send to Sony 240 as I’m out of warranty but I have been told that it is the blue ray deic drive that is causing the fault and will need replaced but don’t trust some random dude doing it

@@seanstewart5665 yeah i found the problem for me it was the blu ray disc drive ribbon cable. When i took it apart to clean it the cable was loose and I just had to plug it in again. So if you opened your ps5 its probably the ribbon cable. hopefully this helps someone

If it doesn’t let you clear cache and says “try restoring to factory setting” If you try to restore to factory and it stays stuck on 99% it won’t load Trust I was stuck on 99% alll night Had to click the reset ps5 option After that it worked my ps5 was working but it was just resset had to log in my psn but it only Takes like 2 mins to scan their code from the PlayStation app and your logged in . All your games and data are saved if you have PlayStation plus or if you had bought any games online they will all be saved you just have to re download them from your library

Try updating if it gives you the option sometimes the ps5 can’t update itself so it goes into safe mode and you will have to update it through the internet

I always just go to update system software and usually there is a mini update and that was the fastest way I can get back into my PS5 within minutes. I just did it now and it worked.
