I'm pretty sure they're all chock full of potassium and have the smallest amount of other electrolytes. To the point where they do nothing for you. The potassium is to make it sweet so kids would buy it over other electrolyte drinks

​@@pixels_per_minute It depends on what kind of potassium they're using, if it's Acesulfame potassium, then yes it's added as a sweetener (Ace-K is used as an artificial sweetener). If it's some other potassium salt as other sports drinks use, then it's being used for potassium's electrolytic properties and will not add any kind of sweetness. That being said, Prime is horrible for kids and they shouldn't be drinking it frequently. Drinking too much of any kind of electrolyte based drink can actually throw off your sodium/potassium levels in your body, mess up the sodium/potassium pump used in the heart, and can even cause heart palpitations.

Totally just my theory.. but with them being sued for bottling contract for prime and sales of prime going down compared to projections they had during original sales.. I think this is just a way for them to move the product. Also cutting a products calories does not make it necessarily more healthy. In terms of kids this could actually make it less healthy since they need more calories on average.

The more something is processed from raw, natural ingredients, the less healthy it becomes. I love when KZbinrs or otherwise influencers launch passion projects. Like Marzia when she did Mai Accents, SimplyNailLogical and Holo Taco, Oompa here and sour boys. Even Blogilates and PopFlex. I love to see that! But what I don't like is when massive KZbinrs show how money hungry they are by slapping their name on any random product.

You know what? After seeing thousands of people going at eachothers necks about whose side they're on and why their opinion matters most, I'm relieved to hear that Oompa is speaking as a smart, informed and rational human being.
