This was, by far, one of the best episodes of Starter Squad to date. Bunch more interesting characters, top-notch humor and writing as always, a payoff with the MissingNO glitches seen in pretty much every episode since 5, and a larger scheme at play to explore in future episodes. This started as just a funny little "what if" short series. This has become so much better since. Keep up the amazing work! This series is brilliant!

I love the commentary on the current trend in horror movies in this episode. With the inexperienced Gastly that relies too heavily on jumpscares and thus, missing the point of what's actually scary, and the Haunter understanding what it takes to create real horror. Great job! :D

I do think there's an additional statement on Haunter as an indie horror director, thinking too hard on what makes things scary while failing to understand his audience. His horror is more conventionally effective but fails to immerse Charmander multiple times and has to explain his "brilliance" despite his failures.

They are two different schools on horror. Ghasly is cheap horror(comedy) and haunter the classic social commentary on society horror. That is meant to make you confront the sides you dont like about youself. Like zombies standing in for Societial mindless zombies. Hunter just tries way to hard to be smart. He should have fund doing the social commentary horror too. There are successful smarter horror movies like romero, and shaun of the dead. Smart hooror can be funny too. Ghaatly should get in more modern horror movies. Far better than saw.
