Sadistik is my favorite artist. It transcends rap to me. I believe this to be the case with a lot of his fans. I think of him more as a poet who can properly rap. And what makes him extra special is he actually loves the culture. Sadly, there are a lot of white rappers in the scene who dont actually love the artform. They show no love for those who came before and, in a lot of cases, completely disrespect the black experience and culture as a whole. Sadistik is an actual student of the culture. Sadistik isnt alone in this. Aesop Rock, Eyedea, and El-P are three others in the same vein. Brilliant writers, impeccable flow, and actually respected by their peers. Edit: Id love to see you react and break down some Aesop, Eyedea, and El-P.
