He says he will protect you from his angry and confused friends, and that line seems to be meant to indicate that you need to be inside Freddy to go down, otherwise you are killed by the tangle. Which would mean whoever, whatever is in the tangle are Freddy's friends.

He can be tricked into completing tasks, but he can’t be fully taken over. His ability to resist full control is why he’s special, and why Cassie needs to be lured in to serve as a more suitable vessel. If he’s the same Jeremy from Help Wanted 1, that might also be how he escaped unlike Tape Girl or Vanessa. I do wonder though, if Fritz Smith is Mike using a fake name, could Jeremy Fitzgerald be the same? They might both have needed fake IDs, less to hide their identities, and more to pass a older to get the job. I think that Fritz and Jeremy being the Foxy and Bonnie MCI victims has to mean something. So Foxy Bro and Bonnie Bully using the names associated with their mascots might mean something. And, after the bite of ‘87, Jeremy might have no other ID on him. If his memory was bad enough, he might not know who he was, only what his ID said. So, Glitchtrap is already in our heads at the beginning of Help Wanted 2, and the collectibles are two paths - we either become a bot or a follower, like Vanessa, by collecting the transformer toys, OR we collect the _memories_ and become *a worthy vessel* of Afton himself. We do things that make Afton see us as more useful than a bot or follower, maybe we share a memory or two (like the 1983 code) and that convinces Afton to give us memories, almost like we are getting to know each other. That brings him to the forefront of our minds, until the end of Princess Quest IV where he has enough form to be picked out and squished, that partial connection to him vanquished from our minds.

On the comparison between the Fazforce Figures and the Memory Poppets: On one side you have the corporate, commercial, commodified element and the other side is the human, hand made, meaningful side. That’s always been a bit of a bifurcation in the franchise. It’s an Indy game series that started off with just one guy. But it’s also a massive franchise with a Hollywood film and multiple book series, etc. Fazbear in universe was a little passion project of two men, but quickly became a massive brand with toys, cartoons, etc. There’s the personal story about the Afton’s and the Emily’s, but there is also this big corporation that is willing to cut corners on safety and cover up heinous crimes for the sake of profits. Eventually these two sides need to intersect. I think that, if we do see a game that touches on FallFest, we might get to see the pivotal moment where William began to hate Henry, and it might have to do with the decision where the company went from a small regional thing to a massive brand.

There's one problem I have with Id's interpretation of Cassie's dad being Jeremy. He definitely died. In Tape 9, Tape girl mentions that there is a LOT of 'ink' on the ground, on Jeremy, and his shirt specifically. Which would lead me to believe that the cuts to his face were pretty major. There is also a mention of the visor still covering his head, which I would assume to be the thing showing him the VR game. If the halloween mask on the floor was in fact the Vanny mask, then it'd mean 1 of 2 things. 1. Jeremy had the Vanny mask stuck to his face (something that doesn't happen without the device m.x.e.s uses to my knowledge), and cut the mask off, leaving his face somewhat intact. He then for WHATEVER reason put the visor that has the game with glitchtrap in it, back on his face. 2. Jeremy had NO Vanny mask on at all, and instead was wearing the visor the whole time. In an attempt to get the visor off his face, he cut his entire face off. Glitchtrap was probably prohibiting him from taking the visor off at all, through whatever means. But all that did was remove Jeremy's face, and leave the visor stuck on his head. I believe the second option is probably true, as I see no reason for Jeremy to have a Vanny mask in the first place, cut if off of his face, and then put the visor on. And it doesn't make sense for the Vanny mask AND the visor to be on at the same time. And finally, in Tape 4. Tape girl talks about the guillotine paper cutter, and what they're used for/in. At the end she says she was always scared of losing a finger, and how that seems silly now. To then abruptly mention Jeremy right after. I don't think I would talk like this is someone only cut a mask off of their face and were actually alive and well. Makes more sense to me that Tape girl is talking about Jeremy being dead or close to it after cutting his face off with that paper cutter. "I was always afraid of losing a finger. That seems so silly now... Jeremy used to do design work. I guess that's how he knew it was there." Is the exact part i'm mentioning. I THINK this all leads to HW1 Jeremy most likely being dead, or in intensive care. If anyone sees this, feel free to tell me if you have anything wrong with this interpretation! I'd love to hear some feedback.

Ok, so this thing about the Occipital Lobe bugs me to high hell. What Helpi says, is "New User Detected. Pairing Occipital Transponder[...]" The Important Word here is Pairing, not implanting. Whilst in the next sentence, Helpi says "Lucky for you, the transponder implant allows me to communicate wirelessly[...]", It is never stated that the masks implants you with anything. It is very much possible, and giving the initial phrasing I'd say even likely, that Cassy already had the implant to begin with.

Things I think. 1. Seeing the take your vanni mask off poster in help wanted 2 makes me wonder if matpats theory about the cult of glitchtrap will come to fruition in a future game, rather than random people being infected it’s fazbear entertainment llc class V technicians who have their own vanni mask and who can build glitchtrap a new physical animatronic body. 2. Personally I don’t think vanni is a single person but rather a digital entity inside the mask that just wants a physical host body, kinda like venom she can link to a persons mind or with anyone who has a vanni mask so she’s kinda like a hivemind that can possess anyone with her mask. 3. I think security breach will possibly get 3 more DLC’s that take place in 1 night so that would make the equivalent of 5 nights (1 night with the base game, and 4 nights with 4 DLC’s), and with each dlc we play as a new kid that teams up with a animatronic. 4. If Cassie’s dad is the Bonnie bully and possibly Jeremy how old would he be, because in fnaf 4 he looks to be either 14 or 15, and we know that he’s probably the same age as Michael and Michael seems to be a adult possibly in his early 20s during sister location and we know that fnaf 3 takes place 30 years later after the 1st fnaf so I’d imagine he be pretty old, unless he’s immortal in some way like Michael and William that could explain. 5. After seeing sister location in help wanted 2 I started to wonder if it’s possible that glitchtrap has been around longer than we thought even before the first help wanted, in my mind I imagine William during his experiments with the Funtime animatronics he used the mimic1 programming to create a digital avatar inspired by his own original character (springbonnie) and trained it to mimic his own behavior so if anything ever happen to William their would technically be another William around but was trapped in the sister location bunker and never used, years later fazbear entertainment llc finds the circuit board with glitchtrap and give it to silver parasol games to scan in their vr experience and that’s when glitchtrap first appears and is able to take over any tester. 6. I think something that would be cool for fnaf is to make one of the mask bully an antagonist like the Freddy mask bully or chica mask bully. 7. What if the Jeremy from help wanted somehow survived cutting his face off, like what if the glitchtrap virus kept his body alive while he may have been brain dead or something. 8. If vanny is the dark split alter side of Vanessa psyche that follows and obeys glitchtrap why is she the one being shown crushing him rather than showing Vanessa destroying both glitchtrap and vanny and ultimately freeing herself. 8. I personally think that glitchtrap and the helpi AI are 2 separate variants/versions of the mimic1 programming but their trying to reach the same goal, I think their are multiple mimics, the og endo, the mimic v2 versions, tiger rock, glitchtrap and helpi and possibly vanni, also I’m pretty sure everyone agrees when I say the helpi AI is a separate and different entity from the animatronic helpy that’s a good guy.

Here is a possible flaw with your two theories about who we play as, Circus Baby knows the character we play as. In the second Fazerblast (Western), when you open the present a line from Circus Baby saying you should have known I would have fine you. I don’t think Princess Quest IV disproves the idea that PQ ending is canon. I think we misinterpreted what PQ III was. We thought PQ III was Vanessa being freed AND the destruction of Mimic1. I think PQ III was only Vanessa’s freedom. That way, PQ ending can still be canon.

Crazy theory time but I think all the spirits that got burned were on the chip that got uploaded to the system and now all the previous spirits just haunt everything because they are everything. Hence why they seem so confused and chaotic because the spirits are constantly fighting for control. In HW2 training endo section and they "choose" who they are, may be one possession, may be more than one, who knows. BUT call me real crazy here, I think Michael or a piece of him is in Sun. You get it? Son? Who else would give us the ultimate dad joke besides Scott? Plus Foxy has been long associated with Michael and who do we see in Foxy's log ride? And in SB, when you collect all the pictures and go through the movie painting, it takes you directly to Sun/Moon's bedroom. Moon is either possessed by someone else or still Michael but more in a childlike mentality, either way, it's someone vengeful/afraid of the dark.

Also, another theory. What if Cassie's dad died sooner than we thought, before SB and what we're seeing in HW2 in the ending of him being killed, is just his memory of it. In the duffle bags there was one that said a team of technicians were going down below the pizzaplex because a ton of power was being pulled down there, but no update. That and even when we take off the mask in HW2, your hands are still virtual, implying you're still not in real life. This links with the theory that Cassie's dad got turned into The Entity trapped in M.X.E.S. These two things fit with Hippo's commentary. "When are you" "Have you ever really looked at your hands". The Entity also moves around like a VR avatar, just like you do in HW2, has human hands that are cut off at the wrist and is working against the mimic trying to stop you from freeing him and looks like a distorted Bonnie. Plus if he's already part of the system and has a grudge against Monty, thats why in the duffle bag notes, Monty keeps busting his legs and jumping from the catwalk for seemingly no reason. He could be temporarily taking control of the animatronics and trying to destroy them, only to be stopped by the mimic. What we're doing in HW2 is being awoken by someone and to become more aware and remember everything after death so we can help Cassie and stop the mimic, but the mimic is too strong at this point. SO first "ending" is seeing your death. Second "ending" is being awoken as The Entity and being aware of the mimic and Cassie's demise.

@@bpsaraWell, Moon isn't the one to trap you, if anything it looks like he's helping Vanny trap you, possibly in the M.X.E.S. machine. I also don't see the ghosts as really ghosts anymore, just like glitchtrap and the mimic, they're digital. So they're not completely themselves anymore with human desires or wishes. Moon may not even be Michael, or if he is, a much younger version of himself like from FNAF 4. If Jeremy is already dead by the Vanny ending, then it's more out of convenience to leave him there than to not.

Idea for the look at your hands line! I have no evidence for this just something I thought of on the spot. Mystic Hippo is telling you to look at your hands because you are already a staff bot by the time you are messing with the glamrocks. We know they can do some serious damage because of multiple endings of security breach, and we know most of the Glamrocks will destroy them if they have something they want or are making them mad which would explain why they would kill you in minigames we're you are working with them. Another thing I think is of note is Chef bot's line we're they say "it's so easy a human could do it" it could just be them being passive aggressive, but it could also be them implying your not human by that point. This also explains why you would be working after the Pizzaplex shut down. Why would you go from a cooking bot to a fizz faz maker to a mask bot could be explained by the dress up minigame where you are dressing up staff bots, maybe code could be easily changed for different purposes along with outfits? Idk this is a throw away thought, thought I would like to know what you think

One thing else to consider, when Cassie puts on the mask in the beauty Solon, we see her memories from her birthday party and Gregory’s disappearance. So by that logic when we put on the mask in hw2, the minigames from sister location and first aid are memories of Cassie’s dad. Even if you say “but hw2 is a training simulator for new employees”, why would we go through sister location? And if we are playing as Cassie’s dad who is also the Bonnie bully and may also be Jeremy from fnaf 2 and hw1, could he be a technician in circus baby’s, and maybe even the one Henry wanted for in fnaf 6 to burn the place down and escape through the exit he talked about.

The thing about the memories, though, is that you use them to get the token for PQ4. The Glitchtrap plush doesn't appear to be a memory, like the rest before it, so I think the hijacking by Vanny still fits, even if the scrapped voice is Glitchtrap. You give up the memories to get the token (but also use them to get the Glitchtrap plush). Just because you give Vanny the Glitchtrap plush, doesn't mean that's what the voice intended.

I guess my only concern is: Why would Glitchtrap use two different methods to get the player character? I could see it as an easy "Oh, you'll be useful here (mask bot), but if you prove yourself, you can be my next helper."

Just a pet peeve of mine, people keep calling the Fazforce figures knock of transformers, but they aren't. Transformers don't combine. They are more like Voltron in that aspect. Just a pet peeve, but so many theorists I watch say that.

I have a feeling that the Mystic Hippo's _weirder_ lines are kinda like the main 8 questions to solve Who's Lila. If you happen to not know about one of the greatest unsolved mysteries ever, Who's Lila is a spooky, Meta videogame linked to an ARG containing: other videogames by the same dev; clues on a twitter prophile that lead to secrect endings; symbolisms to the hell and beyond; an executable program that says eerie things about the enviroment as you interact with it; and more. The thing i wanna get to is the Main 8 questions to answer, all of them having to do with solving the game from many different angles in order to find a solution to that question, which leads to bigger clues unfolding as you go. Maybe Mystic Hippo's _Weirder_ lines are supposed to be like that, Anchors of sorts to try to solve bigger mysteries while you answer other, smaller, questions (specially the "i mean _really_ look at your hands" that's messing me up so bad, why did they add such a weird line?!)(but hey! maybe since they took the character of Mr Hippo of all things, maybe it's trying to tell us whatever she's saying is rubbish and doesn't have to make sense! -(copium)- )

Imagine the horrible luck of a guy named Jeremy who helped kill his friends brother, got bit in the head by an animatronic, sliced at least some part of his face off, then potentially gets murdered by staff bots and becomes the bot that dooms your daughter

Repressed childhood memories are a thing, especially for traumatic events. Maybe Bonnie Bully didn't forget the event completely, but repressed important details. This could be even more possible if they stop hanging out with Michael after the bite of '83. What IF Cassie's Dad got influenced by the mask for so long that he forgot he was wearing it until he unlocks the Princess Quest door? What if he thought the Pizzaplex was working as usual or at least they were still working to fix it but he got stuck inside the FNAF 6 location without realizing? What if the "earthquake" was the reason he's down there? 1:02:00 I think that Mystic Hippo could be trying to make the protagonist realize they're wearing the VANNI mask more than a "hey, you're in VR!" thing.

I think Glitchtrap and the Mimic are very separate. In Ruin I think their goals are the same, but that small argument they have, to me, really demonstrated that they're different people (if person is an appropriate word for these things)

Hi there! Under 5 minutes in and I had to comment. Definitely going to start checking out @idsfantasy who has been popping up in my recommendations. If for no other reason than... "not diagnosed [with ADHD] but it wouldn't surprise me" twins! Can't express how much I feel that, especially the last few years. Yay. Looking forward to going down another FNAF Theorist rabbit hole! (And fwiw, Jeremy the designer is something I've been hearing compelling arguments for elsewhere too, so I'm very excited to explore that. You guys are gonna think I'm crazy, but I personally think PQ 4 represents us killing the Charlie virus. I think Afton is already dead, and when the king says, "what is left that is hidden" he's not talking about some shred of Afton that's still alive (because that would be lame storytelling) he's talking about the Charlie side of the AI. Also, we see a door in PQ 4 that's identical to the one from the end of PQ 3, except now all the purple is gone and only the green part remains, representing Charlie still being alive. The Memory plushies represent Charlie's memories (supported by the fact that they look a lot like the kids from Happiest Day) and lighting their graves represents putting those memories to rest, therefore getting rid of the Charlie virus once and for all. The good ending of HW 2 is us destroying what's left of the Mimic. Vanny is the one who destroys her because she's always been in a constant battle with the Mimic, so it would be a poetic end to their feud. The Ruin DLC is the aftermath of the bad ending, where Charlie is still around, so if we assume that the good ending is canon, that would mean Ruin wasn't canon (which actually makes a lot of sense now that I think about it). Just my theory tho lol
