The thing is, Raja sir did not use string section in the original recording. Just flute, bass, synthesizer and percussion (no bass tabla). It is very unusual that for a non western song he did not use the bass tabla. The beauty of this song is the simplicity of the orchestration. Now you have given a rendition for us to enjoy what the song would have sounded if violins were used in the original recording instead of the synths. Fantastic job.

Always a pleasure to listen to Maestro Ilayaraja's golden compositions on a Violin, and very few could play them as good as Embar Kannan does. It is obvious that Rangapriya is a budding talent. The FLUTE portions have been amazingly executed (not surprisingly!) with 100% perfection by Embar. My wish is to listen to ALL of IR compositions on instruments, especially violin - in both concert and professional recording formats.

Still I wonder and I get goosebumps whenever I listen to violins portions of Raaja kaiya vacha, Rakkama kaiya thattu, madai thirandhu, poove ilaya poove, edho Mogam, Marubadiyum BGM and many. I'm very eager to listen these and many more violins for Raja sir compositions.
