Hint, the OP-1 field has 32bit/96khz internal audio engine. 😄

Ironically the old OP-1 sounds much more interesting and subjectively in my opinion quite a bit better. OP-1 field seems to sound much more like a typical VSTi plugin.

On spot. OP 1 field is the VSTi + tape recorder in your pocket. I like it for that super quick and pristine sampling. OP-1 is the mojo machine for real lofi dirt.

This was awesome to see. I like the hifi clarity and bass response of the OP-1 Field, but the fact that the OP-1 still maintains its own character is very cool. One isn't necessarily "better" than the other. Now who did you have to off to afford BOTH?! 😅

Working my ass off for 30 years. I've been running my own consulting business since 2003, working in audio / game & app development / system architecture / design etc. Some people buy cars my age... I buy synths! ;)

In my opinion the original OP-1 sounds better… grittier maybe why… hmm 🤔 I have the original and never planned on purchasing the field. I’m good and thanks for the comparison.
