Thank you for the AAR! Just one small remark: I recently played this exact scenario for the first time, and I think that three people per side is the max here, with one being the commander in chief and the other two "generals" each commanding one half of the board. If you use three general (or two and the commander in chief) on the board, several cards that are talking explicitly about three sections make no sense, if every player has only got two sections in front of him. Being Dutch, I was also confused as to why there is no Meuse river and Meuse bridge on this map (just south of Nijmegen). That's a major water obstacle, just as the Rhine near Arnhem, the Waal near Nijmegen and the Wilhelminakanaal canal near Eindhoven are. I get the impression that you were feeding the German units near Arnhem pretty much piece meal towards the mass of British paratroopers, instead of first gathering quite a mass of armour (including the Tiger) and infantry, and then assaulting those paratroopers. Also, by using the two German units north of the Rhine to attack those paratroopers in the back, and by doing the same with the two German units West of the 101st paratroopers, you can thin out those paratroopers before they get near the bridges.

Thank you for the ideas. I could’ve done a lot better as the German commander!
