4:00 what are you talking about? Blue decks have a GREAT matchup into B/Y Luffy! With Pudding to decimate their hand size and their ability to bottom deck their Sabo's, thus preventing them from using it again in their life, blue is a hard counter to B/Y Luffy! Well, at the very least Boa Hancock is. I know Doffy plays a little differently, focusing more on stacking their own deck and flooding the board. So Doffy might not be AS good into Luffy, but he still has those strong options against Luffy in his deck as well.

Wondering how RP law should get hit as a deck. imo law’s effect initially wasn’t an issue but with all the new ramping purple cards, his effect just has no big draw back. Though I don’t think the leader itself should be banned. Saka arguably had a better effect and the synergy of its color combination is probably the best in the game. (I suppose coming down to it, it’s easier to ban a leader) Something like Black Maria should’ve been leader locked to animal kingdom

I agree, it's all the new, good, generic ramp cards that basically makes Law's effect free that is making it was, way too good now. I wish they had written him to only be able to use his effect on 1k power or even 0 power characters. That way, you'd actually have to invest more and couldn't just pop 5k - 6k characters for what feels like for free. But I don't believe they'll ever errata a leader to make a change like that. As much as I like Law as a character and even as a leader 6 months ago, in his current state he's far too oppressive and is unhealthy for the game IMHO. He basically negates the existence of more decks than even Sakazuki did IMO. And he very much limits future card designs as well. I hope they do ban him, but not without printing a replacement like they did with Sakazuki. Although, I pray they don't make any replacement leader as sh*tty as they made the Sakazuki replacement lol

The best way to summarise about the issue of RP law, anything that is 4 cost or lower that is generically strong and not leader lock, will be used.

RP law effect is busted. What are you talking about. Purple cards can always ramp. There is no other way now. The leader has to be banned...

@@TheDragster09 “purple cards can always ramp” is not a plausible reason. Sure there’s Ain but the card wasn’t expensive nor played much because law wasn’t doing anything. Blocker Kid, bepo, sachi penguin are great but never helped the deck find a balance in don resourcing while having a way to get more cards in hand. It had maybe one good showing in top 64 of European nationals It wasn’t until at least getting reiju in op06 that the deck barely started to do something and she doesn’t even ramp a don. The deck then got better with Bon clay (another card that is not leader locked etc similar to the above) and kid killer which gave it what it kind of needed. As I said (and as others then said) the leader effect wasn’t broken for its time but upon release with (super good) cards that *now* truly ramp at a fast rate, there isn’t much of a drawback or any drawback to his effect

I think Black Maria should had been Leader locked to Animal Kingdom Pirates at first place and Pudding maybe just for Big Mom Pirates, totally unnecessary buffed RP Law further. Dont know if the Designers had that in Mind when they designed the new Purple Cards. It would be way nicer if the Meta would be little more balanced then 1 Leader being clearly the Nr.1 Pick.

Grand Asia open is a special event that takes places only at certain regions while CS happens throughout Asia. Prizing wise and number of slots for world qualifications is also different

This is the first time in the game history where I actually would support a ban. I even argued against the need to ban Sakazuki. In general, I hate full on bans! But Law is on an entirely different level of unhealthy...

@@kamikaze.33 you don't even have the access to the statistics to be talking about the unhealthy. Unhealthy what exactly? Want to beat Law then take a mono black deck (another bdif btw) and beat him to a pulp with it. What's the problem? I think the complainers just hate the fact that Law grew legs and has become good rather than anything. Western players asking for a ban especially make me laugh. They didn't even get a sniff of a post-ban meta or OP-07 meta yet, they just repeat after what they see on twitter from other players like in an echo chamber. Last time I checked Saka and black is still dominating in there.
