This brings back memories. It was somewhere in 1993, traffic jam, me in a A Manta 1971, in the lane next to me a yellow GT. He was interested in my car so we pulled over the hard shoulder. My car was still being restored, soon to be repainted. He wanted to trade his GT for my Manta. Guess he had no many to restore the GT because it was in a terrible state. known already how many work and money restorations cost. Mine was not even finished after two years. Had no interest for starting all over again on another car. Was difficult enough finding parts for a 20 year old Manta let alone for a GT. Later i told a friend about this encounter and he told me i had better trade the Manta because the GT would have much more value in the future. One year later had to sell the A Manta anyway cause i needed the money to move house. Next car was a B Manta i had nothing but trouble with. Was still in love with the curves of the A Manta. Always Regret Selling 😒
