Dear Sir, I test my database with both methods a query and VBA. But every time it prints the whole database. Not a single report as presented in video. I’m using text field Compay_Name as a filter not CompanyID.

Hi professor. Successfully followed your tutorial but when I Emptied all my record since there is no reference in the code for the target report to open, error message comes out when you click the print button. Hello I am trying to make a database for Funds. So the table's field consist of Date, Check Number, Payee, Gross Amount, Tax Deduction, Net Amount and others. I made a form to enter the details, but after entering all details for one person I want to print a check for it. So the buttons at the end would be : Save and other option for Print wherein it will print the Check and it only includes the Date, Check Number, Net Amount and Payee. Then after that I can proceed to add new data and then print again. Can you help me with this please 🥺 Thank you. Hope to hear from you soon

hey guys please help i am stuck in aquery i have sales table and cash receipt table which records the amount received from customers and in sales table the colums are name, product , price ,total , amount received and the amount received may be zero or a partial payment so i wanted to make a customers balance query where i can see the balance of each customer i have make a sql query but its some time gives true values and some time it not

Going a step further, now that you have the single record report, is there a way using the Property Sheet to save the report as a PDF or Email with the fields Last_Name and First_Name? Trying to build the steps without VBA/macros...challenging myself! Currently the Report uses the Caption entry.

Suppose I want to enter let's say a farmer brings in the morning 50kgs of coffee cherry and in the noon the same guy brings 30kgs and lastly in the evening he brings 70kgs. I've done everything you said and it works fine with all my Forms but still can't get it to work with a report...Access keeps asking me ID value ! You didn't do what I said, because nowhere did I use Me. And you're missing a comma. Details matter.

I get a parameter prompt. I've double checked the spelling of my field everywhere it's in use. Here is the code: Private Sub Command138_Click() DoCmd.OpenReport "rpt_StudentReportFromQuery", acViewPreview, , "StudentID=" & StudentID End Sub Also, my form is for Students, and has a sub-form listing the classes they are in. Does that matter? Thank you.

I figured it out. My report is based on a query, not a table. In the query, the full field name is tbl_Student_StudentID. So I modified the field name in quotes to "tbl_Student_StudentID=".

Anybody else have trouble with all the records in the underlying table trying to print when you 1st open the database even though only one record is opened in the report? I've tried restricting the recordset multiple different ways, in the query, in the docmd.openrepert method. After closing then reopening form from which report was opened and printed, it works fine
