I just watched a video from a channel dedicated to the Rings of Power TV series. They have 2 years of videos and every video was about the TV series. They were flown to New York to a special premier where he saw the first 2 episodes already. Good News: He wasn't a complete shill. He didn't give the show endless unearned praise or go on about how great the show was. Bad News: All he said is he had hopes the show will be good and it looked great. Which to me comes across as, it's boring. Nothing much happened. If your entire KZbin channel and 2 years of work are dedicated to this TV show and you get flown out to New York for special early access to see the first 2 episodes and you have no praise for it yet, that's a really bad sign.

"Battleship Potemkin" the Soviet Union propaganda film by Sergei Eisenstein is also an exceptionally well made political art piece. Personally, I prefer the Patriot because it is centered in liberty and individual freedom, and obviously if you are going to propagate something, it should be individual freedom. Oi I want to see Christopher Paolinis magic system from Eragon. Was really simple, any magic act performed had the same physical drain as physically performing the task. Making a stone float took the same amount of energy as lifting it with your hand, so more advanced stuff would take too much energy from the user and kill them. This could be negated somewhat by combining energy sources to do bigger tasks, but that also required lots more knowledge/training to be able to do.

Time Stamp at approx 16:26 They could have explained Jenn's abilities (So sooper) were because of the DIFFERENCES between her DNA, and Bruce's DNA, because men, and women are different. And, just like with Mutant Powers, they can be marginally, or majorly different because we are different people, even people of the same sex. It's been proven many times that even Identical Twins can, and do, have minor, and major differences in hormonal, cellular, mental, and other physical attributes. It's DEF explainable, when not SMOTHERED in "women are better then men" messaging. Also, Time Stamp 17:42 The whole, "the show tells US that WE expect her to help people" comment is stated quite a few times, but THEY do NOT feel that that is necessary, or even to be desired. In this, and other shows/movies, etc, Hollywood wokism is REALLY not pushing that Spiderman "Pillar of True Hero Truth", that states, "With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility". Almost every single Character that GETS that level of Power, and does NOT help out humanity, is shown to be any/all mixes of being narcissistic, short-sighted, selfish, greedy, and/or evil. And, in the "Good Ole Days' of "True Hero" shows/movies, when a Character gets that level of Power, and DOES TRY (sometimes fails, but DOES try) to help out humanity, they are the "Hero".

As for "Mummy" from 1999 - I like it but I'm afraid that it's not terribly well written and it have big plot hole; Imhotep can mind control people, so why didn't he controlled heroes of the story? Sorry, Mauler, I have to agree with the Superchat about The Dark Knight. The way I see it, there's three big issues with the film. 1: Joker's plan (Make no mistake, he claims otherwise, but his actions demonstrate planning.) depends a lot on chance. What are the odds that Dent behaves exactly as he does by the time Joker is through with him? Yet The Joker's whole plan hinges on that. 2: There's no reason Batman needed to take the blame for Dent's wrongs when you have a maniac clown on the loose besides all of Gotham's usual evildoers. They could've still had a cover up without resorting to dragging his name through the mud. 3: Alfred hiding Rachel's letter from Bruce to shield him from the truth makes Bruce seem really, really weak. What, he can't handle rejection? (Cue Back to the Future clip) There's also Bale's infamous Batman voice, and personally I think the Nolan Batmobile sucks, and that Nicholson and Romero were both better Jokers, but that's more subjective. I still really like The Dark Knight, but it's not perfect. The Rocketeer, on the other hand... that movie might be perfect.

About magic in the MCU, like/dislike is of course a subjective thing (and still can be an interesting conversation), but I think it's wrong to attribute all these inconsistencies and dumb machinations to that. The MCU was and is doing the same with (pseudo) science already. The best fantasy series (books, games or whatever) built with a magic system, are very consistent. You just need to clearly define the rules and what's the "price" to pay for magic. Jumping accross alternative realities, if possible, should be incredibly difficult and dangerous, and maybe require a huge sacrifice of some sort. Wanda's powers? The biggest problem is not that she can do X or Y, it's that she can do that all the time with no consequences. Dr Strange turns water into wine? It doesn't brake the world if you establish rules. A glass of water has no will, it cannot resist his magic. A living being can. MY point is they should care about world building, but instead they absolutely give zero fucks.
