AB 144 INTRODUCED BY Assembly Members Portantino and Ammiano Thank you very much Portantino for making my city safer. I have never opened carried a long gun let me tell you i feel much safer now. The whole point of AB 144 was public safety you just made it worse now i have more fire power if i was to defend myself, the longun rounds are much more powerful unlike a handgun and more people will be at risk.

@quicklady they are authorized to check to see that you are not in violation of the loaded fire arm law that's why they check public safety has nothing to do with the 12031 E check

I have been LUCC'ing mostly when I go out to restaurants with the family. This means I carry my handgun in a soft sided zippered case with a small TSA padlock securing the zipper. Once I sit down I usually unlock the padlock so that I can quickly retrieve my pistol if needed. Anyone else out there LUCC?

@rightwire people that hate guns are totally acting on emotion and not logic thought, whole idea of the second amendment is to protect against tyranny, and protect against any evil people willing to do harm to you. people need to study the second amendment ans see why we have it in the first place. i think they should fully have a class in school all he way up from 1st grade thru 12 on the constitution.

they do not have a right or obligation to E check. they are only authorized to do it if they feel you are jepardizing public safety.

i understand that its you right to open carry but open carrying a rifle is asking to get stopped and check because no ordinary person needs to walk down the street with a rifle.

I used to root for this video but this open carry auditing is garbage and all you did was pump a bunch of people up to want to stock up on guns in a town that needs to get rid of them. Bottom line.
