well, Merc as the generic guy could work, the Classes as specific guys better with certain things could also work. actually having OF MErc and the TF2 mercs with their own campaigns would be great. some sort of Tutorial map like the Training Walkway and class specific training courses where you are taught how to use the class better would work.

Don't forget, this, as well as TF2C, could've been accessible to everyone way sooner if Valve bothered to respond the dev teams' attempts to contact them, since the plan was to bring these to Steam. (Which requires Valve's effort just as much as the developer's.) They were both re-opened just because they'd gotten no word back on progress from Valve, nor any response to asking if they should keep the downloads closed. It's ridiculous.

Definitely one of the easier arena shooters out there, I remember playing it a couple years ago. It was good, but some of the guns were unbalanced, mainly the LG, SSG, and rail. I don't know what was up with the LG when I played, maybe it was a combination of above average damage and a wider beam when compared to the dozen other iterations of it in other afps. The SSG was a pretty consistent one shot kill if you were just hopping around and timing your shots right. Lastly the railgun is insane because of the headshots being a guaranteed kill, and some maps having spots where you can just camp by jump-pads clicking heads all day. A lot lf this could be fixed if there were a consistent way to overheal, and from what I remember the small pills don't do that, and even if they did there were too little. I also think it has to do with the lack of armor pickups as well, knowing that the rail gun will always two shot someone if they're at full hp is pretty nuts considering getting two consecutive hits isn't the hardest task or comboing an explosive or tracking weapon into the railgun. In addition, the lack of armor just lets me fight some guy with quad damage if I'm fighting long distance. More overheal and an armor system would be nice for all players imo, allows them to live longer and it gives them a larger health pool to go around rocket jumping, which I don't see people do often at all since your character only has like 150 hp. That'll probably never happen though because their reasoning for the game not having armor is because TF2 doesn't have it. I thought it was a lame answer, but whatever lol. In the end, it's a great and fun game. I would recommend it to people who have never played afps games before as it's the easiest to get into and it has that TF2 goofy-ness and charm.
