I made a deal with my wife that she could buy new shoes if I get a new guitar. I thought I was smart, but have you seen how much some of those shoes cost??

In open c the only string that you tune up is the b string. You tune it up one half step. Everything else is tuned down or stays the same.

The open G capo on fret 5 works great for the rhythm but what about the solo and embellishments?

Pretty cool song that is simple. What kind of guitar is that? A Tele, Strat? If you had to choose one guitar to get the most authentic sounding songs, what would it be? I'm a beginner guitar player and want an electric, but don't know what to get and of course you can't trust the people at Guitar Center... LOL

"Enough bah bah bah eh?" I saw Bad Co on Axs TV recently and saw no capos. This sounds very tinny cos such high notes? Play leads with capo too?
@iwannarockschool4 жыл бұрын
Like I said in the video, originally this was done in open C tuning. Same tuning as open G capo'd at the 5th fret. The video you saw on tv was most likely in open C.

You tune down for open C 😂 no wonder your breaking strings trying to tune up 8 steps you fool
@iwannarockschool2 жыл бұрын
that's the wrong Open C. The one you're talking about has the low C on the 6th string. (like open E or D)This one is based on 5 string open G. Mick Ralphs used a 6 string tuned CCGCEC
@scottkonnagan1759 Жыл бұрын
@charliedouglas Only a fool would suggest tuning down to open C for this tune. Stay in your lane, kiddo. 🤣🤣🤣
