Gee, on top of all his talent as a guitarist, he isn't too bad of a piano player. He should have done some albums, like Ralph Towner did, of him playing overdubbed guitars and keyboards.. It's been nearly one year since John's passing, and i'm still missing his presence in this world. He's been a big part of the soundtrack to my life since about 1978...

One of my all time favourite albums is Kenny Wheeler's "The Widow in the Window" on ECM, and a big part of the magic of that album is the beautiful playing of John Abercrombie.
