Nah dude this thing is just a gimmick. Because hololens arent cheap, the 4 kinects arent too. Nobody is gonna ever do that ehen they can just use a web cam. It is impractical.

But I wouldn't be the least worried, cause it's opensource after all, and it's fully possible that several people are privately developing it. So if we're not seeing any more changes on this specific one, then you can rest assure, someone else will bring forth an improved version, sooner or later. Ernesto Duque ohhhh awesomeeeee!!!👍🏾😌 yeah I recently have been binging them like crazy so basically when I was a kid the only episode I had was episode 3 revenge of the sith and I watched it soo much (I still know some of the lines haha) but I was younger and really didn't understand it all that much and so now I'm 21 and I started watching them and it's absolutely AMAZING cause I understand everything now (I started on the movie Solo and dude. that movie was so good so many references to other Star Wars movies it's crazy I learned so much about the millennium falcon it's insane haha and also more about Han Solo if I could describe the movie I would say it was a lot of fun and very interesting so now me and my brother are watching a new hope and it's really awesome as that episode also references to other episodes like the fight on mustaphar in episode 3 (don't wanna talk too much about that as I don't wanna risk spoiling anything for you) and references to other movies like one I noticed and made me smile is when in episode 4 when Han Solo mentions the malinnium falcon and talks about how it went through the Kessel run which is like this route in space that smugglers use it's extremely dangerous and is actually shown in the movie Solo and so you could imagine me having just watched it, that reference made me smile with joy but there are even more references in it and it's amazing and it's funny too cause my dad has been telling me to watch Star Wars for yearssss and he says now I act like I'm the Star Wars encyclopedia hahah it's just so dope and amazing and good and I love how everything is connected and makes sense the storytelling is nothing short of amazing also if your down I learned some really interesting things about Darth Vader that are just like down right sad anyway though it's awesome to talk to someone who's also into Star Wars :)

Hi, yes they have while our current solution only uses a point clouds, hence the difference in quality. As I mentioned before we are currently close to finishing a version that creates a mesh from all of the Kinects. We plan to finish it in around two weeks. A first version should be online in a few days. As for the Unity mesh limitation, we simply split the mesh into several smaller ones.
