Now I'm at the point where I want a fulfilling job and ironically I feel that the last 6 years in particular have set me on course for my career as a clinical physcologist. I spent most of my years observing the different NHS sectors, multi disciplinary assessments, emergency medicine, oncology, surgical & more importantly...Physcology, then dealing with schools and my sons special needs, sensory issues, triggers, behaviour etc. In terms of acamedia I've literally started from the bottom, retaking GCSE English, Maths, physcology, human biology and science, then my A levels in Physcology, sociology and English lang/lit...then I'm going for my undergrad phsyc degree. On the side I do Bank work at a care home which encompasses residents on end of life, dealing dementia, etc and i also volunteer at my local hospital to just sit and talk with patients, all of this helps with my human face to face experience. I've always been facinated with human behaviour in adults and children alike and I'm really excited to see where I end up in a decade, it's never too late!

Im in my second year of Business specialized in Accounting at the OU so its just my experience. Right now the tutorials and get togethers are not going on face to face due to Covid. But there is an entire student association with clubs, you will probably have tutor group forums and module forums as well (module forums are general forums for everyone in the module, tutor group is a small group you are divided into with a dedicated professor you can ask for help and marking assignments) and they can be pretty active, in some modules the students set up whatsapp groups to socialize and discuss things so you can look into those too and if you attend online tutorials and library session and choose to participate it can also be a pretty rewarding and social experience interacting with everyone. Hope it helps.

has anyone done OU’s chemistry degree? did u have to attend anything in person/face to face ? since it’s chem, there would be a lot of lab work, im just wondering if completely everything is online or not

Does the degree you get is exactly the same as the one you would get from a campus one? Does it say anywhere it was taken online or something?

I'm currently in my 12th grade (cbse board 🤡) and I really wanna study Bsc (hons) psychology But my problem is that I cannot go to any foreign country so do you think it can be useful for me ? As in .. I won't get to go to any proper uni so do you think OU will have value over the world? I just need a confirmation ... Skskks also thank you so much for such detailed explanation 🥺💕

Hi, I am Italian and I am very interested in enrolling in the mathematics degree course at the Open University. I wanted to ask you if within the modules to be studied there are also video lessons of the topics and if the exams are written or oral (face to face). Thanks for any replies.
