even later to the party but on the board at around 20 min mark does LTC not give W with 6 losers and E with 8 losers so 4 clubs should be possible? Or am I really misunderstanding LTC.

I’m a year late but thanks yet again for a really useful teaching video. I’m still not sure what people mean by a ‘low reverse’ and a ‘high reverse’ though. (It’s not really made clear on various internet explanations.)

Thanks for an excellent question. I believe a HIGH REVERSE is where opener makes a non-jump bid of a 2nd suit at the 3 level. e.g. 1S:2D; 3C. This is considered Game Forcing, as the 3C bid shows 16+, and the 2D shows 9+ points. This is in contrast to a REVERSE, which is forcing, but not game forcing. I am not convinced that the separate concept of a HIGH REVERSE is necessary (and I do not mention this subject in my lessons). The 3C bid is a reverse, and shows 16+, so as both partners should treat this a game forcing, as they have shown 16+9 points. I don't think that a HIGH REVERSE can occur unless responder has bid a new suit at the 2 level. Thanks for an interesting question!
