The disaster starting 9:30 gave me an actual flashback. The trainwreck keeps piling up until everyone panics & runs in circles aimlessly. This was a frighteningly accurate depiction of a dinner service meltdown.

a lot of that was Smii7ys fault. hes too stubborn to take action on something that he didnt already assign himself to. also, he botched it because he failed to say where the menu was left at OR, after he got it BACK, actually SEAT them. he brought it back for some reason

@@BLUERAYGUNER And that's exactly how it happens. Someone loses his cool & attempts to do two things at once, jumping in the way of colleagues that have their shit under control. Taking 3 seconds to stand still, breathe out & reassess the situation usually reveals that the problem is in your own head, & you are the actual origin of the chaos. Been there myself & have seen it so many times yet. Sometimes even kinda hard to relax when I do go out for dinner, because I can't shut out the tension. Good waiters have the cool to improvise. Bad ones project their panic upon everyone else. Would be fun to experience Smii7y in an actual dinner service. Would totally pay for it.
