These women are Gunners. Guarding on horseback, is not their usual job. They are privates and are given limited instructions. That's why there is more MOD officers present.

I don't know what marmite is, but even so, what the hell would someone be thinking, opening a packet and present it to a horse or any animal. WTH, It's like throwing something to someone on stage from a dark audience, not knowing what's coming at them. Marmite is a yeast extract spread that is very popular in the UK. Like we do with jam, marmite is typically used on toast. I have no idea what it tastes like. From my understanding, marmite is only sold in the UK
