Good for you. Donuts look great! I started my donut shop a year ago now. The struggles are real but very rewarding when it all goes right!
@eileenfuentes69753 жыл бұрын
Wow it's a lot of work but it looks like so much fun making the donuts. I didn't realize how simple the concept of using the machines to get everything done all at once. I imagined that somebody would take each one with an icing bag to ice it and sprinkle with their hand sprinkles on each one but you are knocking them out in seconds! When all is said and done that is a lot of work. Just the fact that you stick the donuts in the icing for a moment and then put them out and dumped them in a pan of sprinkles, wow that makes it a lot simpler than I thought. But then waking up that early, making a ton of donuts, brewing coffee, making sure the store is ready, on top of cleaning it, inventory, closing for the day, and I'm sure every once in awhile you get some difficult customers. It's like playing whack-a-mole all day long... Just wow. What a profit you make with those beautiful Donuts. It takes such dedication and commitment. This morning I was getting my kids ready for school and making breakfast for my two young kids and husband and I already feel tired right after my little morning Rush. But in reality by the time I wake up early in the morning for my day to start, you already have made all the donuts, brewed coffee and opened up your shop. Sorry I know I said a lot but I really admire what you do. It was satisfying to watch. I couldn't imagine me running a donut shop. For one I am not a morning person and another thing is I would probably gained a few hundred pounds and drink coffee all day! That is true dedication. It looks fun but I am sure there are days where you rather stay in bed watching Netflix all day. If you lived near me I'd see you every morning!

Thank you Eileen! I really appreciate you taking the time and writing this to me because you are spot on! Its not always easy having to wake up so early and leaving my bed, but it is so fun and rewarding seeing so many people enjoying our donuts, so that's what keeps me going ! :) The pleasure of serving customers good food and great energy in the morning ! I really appreciate your kind words! Thank you again Take care and if you're ever in the area please stop by we will take care of you :)

I commend you for having the courage to do what you want. As a kid I competed in Martial Art tournaments in front of thousands. As a educated adult i've taught hundreds and performed safety trainings, dealt with politicians etc and STILL don't have the guts to go out on a limb and do something for myself by myself like you. Without you knowing you are inspiring people to live their passion. Thank you and I hope you get all the success in the world and it fills you up.

After the you cut the donuts how long do you let them rise for or know when they are proofed enough. Sometimes mine turn out great but then sometimes i think i let the air out with my fingers when i pick them up to drop in the oil and then they dont puff up. Maybe im proofing it to warm or too much? or i need to knead the know more initially so its stronger?
@Jackyt922 жыл бұрын
Great Question! Yes it can be a variety if things. 1. I would check the humidity levels on the rise machine and water you add to the mix. A lot of the times it has to do with weather conditions when its cold it takes longer to rise so you may have to change the temp of the water. 2. Weigh your donuts so you can see how thick they need to be depending on the day. I have been extremely busy but I will be making future videos to answer a lot of the questions people may have.

@Jackyt922 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the comment I will be making follow up videos to questions! ❤️
@trinityhopetandoc7734 Жыл бұрын
I finally got it working now... The doughnuts needs to have good gluten development so that when it rises it won't easily break down. Timing is also the key. If over proofed you end up deflating the donuts causing it to sink instead of floating in oil..

Hi I am just trying my luck if you are willing to share on how you do the chocolate glaze because ive been searching and still unable to find a stable glaze 😢. I have a very small business here in the Philippines in where i deliver donuts to students. My problem is when I put glaze on top it falls down and melt. I have only 2 flavors chocolate and sugar glaze. Thanks for this video it really inspire to have a donut shop someday. Maybe in gods perfect time..

I love that ! you will find your ways if you work hard I promise ! Well as far as the glaze it all depends on the thickness of it. I am going to be making a detailed video on the way that I would Make it.
