This is one of those movies that feels so unrealistic but you get lost in just the spectacle and fun. Then you learn that it’s actually pretty accurate to the actual event and your like what the hell

I agree but they did get some of this from real sources. Let's not forget there was that Englishman who legit spent the most of the second world war armed with nothing but a sword And a longbow in some situations. Lol

The account I read of the actual incident is the allies stole a boat. That's about where the similarities ended. Which would make sense.

It killed me because he almost looked sad when his arrow broke, like a little kid that dropped his lollipop. Then you can see his face brighten up like that same little kid got a sundae after he dropped his lollipop.

I really enjoyed him re-using the arrow several times. :) On one go he rips it out of the guy's chest like; "Give me that! That's mine!"

Think its funny. Reason we have so many types of "special forces" is because Churchill liked the idea of commandos. Something that the nazis prolly crapped their pants when they heard about them. Guys that operated under the OSE/OSS tag, if they ever had one.

Denim jeans and cotton t-shirts would be easy to find, and it's a simple enough outfit to be timeless. Lassen's too big for more traditional style of uniforms too.

This scene was hilarious because it almost had me feeling sorry for Nazis. There were like 20 odd sailors in that corridor and I still felt bad for them because they were trapped in there with a fucking heart-snatching Viking that hunts soldiers for sport.

The fight scenes are similarly paced, though truth be told, Tarantino just lifted the fight scene pacing in his films from Takeshi Kitano. (aka "Beat" Takeshi) Check out the film Fireworks, it's a master class on cinematic violence, woven with almost zen like scenes of tranquility and stillness.
