This is one of those movies that feels so unrealistic but you get lost in just the spectacle and fun. Then you learn that it’s actually pretty accurate to the actual event and your like what the hell

It killed me because he almost looked sad when his arrow broke, like a little kid that dropped his lollipop. Then you can see his face brighten up like that same little kid got a sundae after he dropped his lollipop.

This scene was hilarious because it almost had me feeling sorry for Nazis. There were like 20 odd sailors in that corridor and I still felt bad for them because they were trapped in there with a fucking heart-snatching Viking that hunts soldiers for sport.

The fight scenes are similarly paced, though truth be told, Tarantino just lifted the fight scene pacing in his films from Takeshi Kitano. (aka "Beat" Takeshi) Check out the film Fireworks, it's a master class on cinematic violence, woven with almost zen like scenes of tranquility and stillness.
