@Meech Honestly, it's hard to create villains that aren't "cringey and childish". Arthas might be cringe in some people's eyes, but the main reason why every villain feels bad nowadays is because every villain archetype has been milked accross video games. I'm not saying they can't create good villains, but it's definitely harder than before the 2010s

@@joshbot891 The entire problem was Blizzard constantly having to one-up the villain's strength. That's what made them look like saturday morning cartoon villains. With the Jailor being the absolute peak cringe. Villains are interesting when they're not all-powerful, when they're flawed is when they get to be unpredictable and lash out in extreme ways.
