Hi mario, I often change the lens on my cameras to get a bigger fov. I saw that CADDX was coming for OpenIPC and then some, which is really great. At 6:20 this is the Tamise I see with the sub250, Bro ?

I can't wait for the caddx hardware , its awesome they decided to work with openIPC . I suspect by the end of next year openIPC will have off the self air units and ground stations ready for mass adoption . Igor had said that we can expect more news of the goggles on december as well so december is going to be an interesting time . Also if you dont mind me asking why were there so many more stutters in this video as compared to others ?

Because I still haven’t updated my goggles VRX lol. I’m still with only one WiFi adapter which is a huge bottleneck for the high bitrate. I’m definitely going to add 2 or maybe 3 WiFi adapters with 4 or 6 antennas to eliminate those nasty glitches. Thank you for the support!😊🙏

@@mariofpv With the added antennas how far do you estimate the range will be? With the Goggles X (or DJI goggles), would they need an adapter to work? Thank you!

​​@@mattheww9656 adding WiFi modules with antennas unfortunately doesn't increase range that much, what they do allow for is better link consistency , as in less random breakup events - that sort of thing . As for compatibility I don't think DJI goggles are compatible and I don't know about the goggles x (if it allows HDMI in then it should be compatible though). If you want better range with openIPC right now (adaptive link is still being developed) you either can run Ruby HD software on openIPC hardware , since it has retransmission capability which will increase range or you can decrease bitrate of video link to get longer range

The edge of image sharpness is way better now, although the WDR performance of the camera (and codec) is to be desired: once filmed against the moderately bright sun, the picture deteriorates quickly into a silhouette show. I wonder if the sensor profiles can be adjusted in this regard...

How do you get the radxa to do 1080p? Always wants to do 1920p60, no matter if I specify it in the /config/scripts/screen-mode file

@@mariofpv I assume the screen resolution is the display to the goggles. Oddly the 1280x720@60 doesn’t work, however the 1920x1080@60 seems to work.
