Regardless of where it comes from, as long as there's people who feel even the smallest incentive to donate then that's all that matters. It's a start. I mean, Band Aid and all those other big musical activism projects of the 1980s were pretty flaky, but at the same time I think they really did make people more aware of the problems they were addressing. And they did raise a whole bunch of money. This isn't big. It's not Phil Collins and Dolly Parton and Bruce Springsteen and Michael Jackson holding hands and singing together. It's one band talking directly to their fans about concrete goals. And I think that does make people take notice.

Imagine if at the end of the video he said "lol april's fools, we're not doing any of that shit". But seriously, this is such a great initiative, these guys are already doing more than most people by talking about these issues in their songs and making people aware and now they're just skipping the bullshit and personally improving lives.

Unbelievable. My jaw dropped. I thought this was going to be another random charity pitch but no. You did your research and are supporting indigenous communities. Thank you for this. I will donate.
