Well that was a solid morning on the water. Was digging the top water action. Thanks for sharing

It was a blast! I was happy with how the action came together. Now if I could just get that rod! lol. Thanks Mark

Great fishing morning. That was just a fluke and a frog day. Didn't need any thing else. Was hoping to see you pull up your rod and reel. Maybe your next vid will be the one🤞 Thanks for sharing Tracy.

Thanks Jerry. Yep.... solid day for sure. Hoping to get out again very soon and rescue that rod!

Our smaller lakes / ponds are starting to ice over already but no ice fishing for me again this year. Now I’ve got about 5 months before I can hopefully get back in the yak 🤞! Hopefully I’ll be healed up by then. Ya got some nice ones T, too bad about that swim-bait rod & reel setup going overboard. Your recovery efforts reminded me of when I lost my drone, spent 4 days trying to relocate except I didn’t have a fish finder to help out, the weeds on the bottom were so thick not sure it would have helped. Love those Topwater blow-ups !

Maybe you northerners will have better ice this year. I heard last year was crazy iceless. Though you won't be fishing, this is perfect time for you to heal up and get strong again! I'm going back out for another try at my rod tomorrow. The wind is going to be minimal for a few hours. Partly in the dark. I remember your drone mishap. Hopefully I have better luck! Thanks Don!

Watching you from Alaska, I float tube fish for rainbows and now I wish I was in your neck of the woods. I have never fished for largemouth and that kayak angling looks awesome. I use a Raymarine Dragonfly and it has made me a better angler. Is that public water ? Gators ever give you problems? Thanks for sharing your fishing techniques. Might need to vaca down there. Snook have peaked my interest also 😜

Float fishing Alaska would be amazing. I've been to AK twice and fell in love with it. Halibut fishing in Homer was one of many highlights. What city are you in?? I'm in central Florida. Half hour from Orlando, but I fish all over the state, and country for that matter. Favorite place outside of FL is Maine. I go there for the summer. Fishing's fantastic there too. This lake is not privately owned by any individual but there is no public access. You have to know someone to get access. I am on public water 98% of my fishing. I have to be on public water in order to do my monthly challenges. The monthly challenges start back up in January. Thanks so much for watching. Tight lines.

Question-Do you ever throw a worm back in there where you missed a fish on a frog? A lot of the times if you do that right away the fish will hit it. I’m sure you know that . But I haven’t seen you do that.

Yes, absolutely. Worm, fluke, or Neko.

Tracy that was a really fun day fishing big blowups, sorry it didn’t hook up for you! Sorry you couldn’t find your rod I watched another KZbin with the same problem he came out the next day and used a big magnet 🧲 to bring it out of the depths of the water! I hope you can find it again!! Tight lines take care and God bless!

The reel isn't magnetic at all. I put a magnet on my other reel (same model) and it's not magnetic anywhere. Gotta use a hook. I'm going to try a big spoon lure with giant treble and also add 1 ounce trolling weight to the 1 ounce spoon. It's just a matter of actually locating it again. If I can see it on the graph, I'll hook it without a problem. Thanks Gran.

Try a magnet 🧲, screen shot a picture of where you dropped it.

The reel isn't magnetic anywhere. I tried it on my other curado. I used my GPS watch breadcrumbs and screenshots.
