From the Sikh perspective, Ghalughara 1984, also known as Operation Blue Star, is a deeply painful and tragic chapter in our history. The Golden Temple in Amritsar, our most sacred religious site, was brutally attacked by the Indian military in an attempt to flush out Sikh militants. The operation resulted in the desecration of our holy shrine, significant loss of innocent lives, and widespread devastation. Sikhs around the world were shocked and outraged, feeling that their religious sanctity and freedom were violated.
The events of Ghalughara 1984 left a lasting scar on the Sikh community, leading to increased mistrust and tensions between Sikhs and the Indian government. Many Sikhs continue to seek justice for the victims and accountability for those responsible for the operation. It is a reminder of the need for religious tolerance, understanding, and respect for all communities, and a call to remember the importance of peace and unity in a diverse and multicultural society.

ਡਾ. ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੈਪੋਲੀਅਨ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ “ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਉਲਝਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦਿਓ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਅੱਧੀ ਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। “ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਅਟੈਕ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਹੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਲੌਗੋਵਾਲ, ਟੌਹੜਾ, ਰਾਮੂਵਾਲੀਆ ਆਦਿਕ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਗੋਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਬੈਠੇ। ਇਧਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਗੱਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਸ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਕਿ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਤਾਂ ਰਣ ਤੱਤੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਭੱਜ ਗਿਆ ! ਹੁਣ ਕੌਮ ਕੀ ਕਰੇ ? ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰੋਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ individually ਹੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੂਝ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਈਆਂ। ਫਿਰ ਧਰਮੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਨੇ ਜਾਈਏ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਿਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਤ ਮਾਰ ਕਿ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਤਲੀ ਤੇ ਧਰ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਬੈਰਕਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਕਿ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਲੇ ਪਾ ਦਿਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਫੜੇ ਗਏ ਓੜਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਸੱਦਦ ਸਹੇ ਜੇਲਾਂ ਕੱਟੀਆਂ ਪਰ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਲੰਕ ਲੱਗ ਚੁਕਿਐ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਦਾ ਕੌਮ ਨੇ ਕੋਈ ਮੁੱਲ ਨਾਂ ਪਾਇਆ। ਗਦਾਰ ਲੌਂਗੋਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਧਰਮੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਜਿਕਰ ਵੀ ਨਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ! ਡਾ. ਸਾਹਿਬ ਇਹ ਦੱਸੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਗੱਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਸਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਡਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਹਿਣ ਨਾਲ ਕਿ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਤਾਂ ਭੱਜ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ! ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ ਦਾ ਕਿੱਡਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਹੋਇਐ ?
