Souheila Sami Andrawes Sayeh lives in my country. She sat just 5 years in prison and manipulated her way free. A horrible, vile human. Noted for her particular brutality towards the hostages. I remember her crying on tv when i was a teenager. Crying for her own rights. Who is crying for the victims? Shameful how easy she got off. She should still be locked up in my opinion.

Today those like her and Leila Khaled are celebrated not only by Palestinians by but useless brainwashed college and university students across USA, France with recent events, I'm guessing the Netherlands too. I really don't understand how so many people became convinced that the bad guys are now the good guys, just because they decided to hide amongst their own civilians as opposed to hijack western planes.

This was a tragic period history with radicalized terrorists hijacking planes full of innocent passengers. I was very young at the time but recall these events on the news. We are fortunate to have men, special forces who train & have the expertise to deal with terrorism in the only way necessary while risking their lives. Condolences to the pilot & his family. An amazing man who gave the team vital intelligence on how many terrorists they were dealing with. Thank you posting this dramatic documentary.

The trouble is that Canada and other countries is that they have highly trained ex military and other elite forces who are retired and are not recognized by anyone.They have been dumped by their countries and given shit Pensions and have to work to supplement their pensions with low paying jobs to make ends meet because the government doesn’t give a crap.We do have the skills to make a difference in the security industry but I don’t think that these companies realize how valuable these assets are .These people can make make all the difference within a company on the training,in the field and on the operating system and the hiring process and make the difference between making the areas that the company is working safe and successful or not.Just my personal opinion and observations as I’ve been working in security for quite some time and at 67 years old I’m still active in this industry and I’m very proud of trying to make a difference to protect my brothers and sisters from danger on the job.

His widow would have lived an altered life of sorrow and inner rage, and if they had children they are still affected by it now, as seasoned adults. It never stops for them, they are tied to and damaged by it for life. Grandchildren too are altered, just by not having a grandfather. I suppose the same is true for the parents of what appears to be misguided white women, which they appear to be, as they would never understand the choices of their children. They could have been Palestinian women, but they were definitely portrayed as white women here- something that incidentally seems true of so many on college campuses today. Totally manipulated by emotion over lack of reason, willing enablers to the crime, I don't know. But I do believe that "Makmoud's" parents and family came to terms with his having been some kind of ordained hero enjoying his 72 whooores. That's a big difference; his family grieved for a period and moved on proudly; while those of these western women are forever destroyed. A lot of that Patty Hearst-type thing back then. I personally think they were all groomed and duped, but it isn't always the case.

Sorry. The Israel Commandos showed the world how to get back a plane more than a year before the Germans when they went into Entebbe in July 3, 1976.
@saba650218 күн бұрын
You absolutely correct! The Israeli Special Forces had done a marvelous job in Entebbe in 1976 when they managed to free the kidnapped passengers from an airport terminal in a very risky operation. Unfortunately commander Yoni Netanyahu was killed. But the German GSG 9 also did an incredible job when storming the Lufthansa plane in Mogadischu and freeing the passengers - making Germany proud and happy. By the way, the German GSG 9 had also been trained mainly by the Israeli Forces and also the Brits in the years before 1977. The GSG 9 had only come into existence in the end of 1972 or beginning of 1973.
@PennySmart14 күн бұрын
Much as I admire the Israeli special forces (who had a part in training this commando leader), the Entebbe raid was different as the passengers were no longer on the plane but in the terminal and in a hostile country. So the narrator is right to claim it was a first of that kind.

the plane could have been taken out in Dubai, it seemed as if the SAS & German special forces were given 1 year to plan their strategy, they had the info that 2 men & 2 women took the plain but still the special forces need a battalion to take the plane.
It is amazing, however, it is ironic that these terrorists continued to be able to plunge their airplanes into the Twin Towers on September 11. Perhaps, the government in each country should allow for one of these special forces on every airplane to stop the terrorists just in time to avoid another September 11.
