Ah, to be young and stupid; blowing into the cartridge actually promoted rust on the connectors between the cartridge and the console. What made the game work was simply reseating the cartridge; in so doing, allowing the connectors to read properly.

@Miss Jae Yeah because you'd know, definitely having never seen this "Program" lol I hard bricked an LG Optimus G when they were brand new by rooting it improperly and told them it died during a software update. Got a new one the same day. Wii... was at the time... and still is... cheap and old as hell.. The new Optimus was $500-$600. lol Think Nintendo gives a shit to do heart surgery on a Wii before they accept the return? Their not as good as you think. *Wii with pirated games breaks* *Remove warranty sticker with blow dryer, short out and kill the entire board internally, replace sticker.* *In the classic sad "I didn't know" American voice* "The power went out and so did the Wii...." Go scan that shit with this "Program" and tell me what you find. lol

Anyone remember when the fat PS2 started sounding like a fucking chainsaw? It's even worse than it not working because you get a glimmer of hope that you'll be able to play but then halfway through a mission it starts making noise and makes you jump and die. And definitely did not help matters when I would beat the fucking shit out of it that thing to shut it up after getting annoyed beyond the point of pissed off by the repeated dying and "er, er, er, er, er, er, er, er, er." Louder than my tv speakers. Thus stopping the noise for 20 seconds, gouging my game discs permanently and eventually the PlayStation permanently ,I'll also never forget the day that me and my mom had to drive all the way down big bear mountain to San Bernardino and got a SILVER PS2 SLIM to replace the old one and got it home only to find out the previous owner towel tricked it. But hey, at least it didn't make noise. 🙃🙃

Lmao the NES story hit me in the feels. I remember blowing on the cartridge then you put it in just enough so that it can push down. Not all the way or it wouldn't work.
