He couldn't even pronounce the language right, though he was funny. As a non-native Arab speaker and a ethic minority that stand out in my country, I generally dislike when people use stereotypes of languages, ethnicity, faiths, etc. in jokes, just because of widely spread of ignorance among the public that people suffer from daily in real life and constantly try to fight against, especially people that don't identify themselves with it. Nothing personal against Trever, he's a great stand up comedian.

I honestly find Arabic to be such a beautiful language. I took a year language course and learned to love it even more. It has such a flow and rhythm to it and it is so poetic. I've listened to the Arabic version of "Let it go" and seen the English translation and its even more beautiful than the original. I know I might be one of the few people who still like that song. I associate it with the sheer happiness of ending my 4 months of working at Subway and the freedom within that song just echoed so clearly my desire to let go of all of those painful experiences.

All languages have certain words that cant be translated because the other lacks an equivalent, thats why all languages have loan words from eachother. @@thelonely1938 That's really sad that an ancient, beautiful poetic language has been portrayed by Hollywood in such a shallow way. Arabs and Chinese have one of the oldest histories and here we are today, stereotyping a whole population based on the media's portrayal

That’s incredible😂👏.I’m Russian, and I admit, that he managed to portray the Russian accent, even though, we don’t all use the same deep, audacious voice to speak. It’s like In any other country, there are different people who use different timbre. But it is really fun to observe how foreigners see our language 😂👏

what he's saying about Arabic makes me feel so sad Arabic is such a beautiful deep language and one of the hardest language to learn and it's so sad that people always associate it with bombs or bad things because of the media, these guys do not represent us these guys are not our culture nor the way we are .. anyways

What he is saying about Arabic is the hollywood version, no one will ever represent you; If their source of information is the corrupted propaganda media and films, you can expect nothing but false portrayal. I grew up fearing the Russians due to the way they were portrayed to me, a far cry from reality. Thankfully I got to travel the world and see what the media can never show.
