I absolutely love this story. me and my sister are even making 'racist' gift baskets for eachother for christmas this year. i cant wait to get mine and I can't wait for her to see hers. edit: very late update. long story short, it was really damn funny. i got her a baby shirt because she's short (she's older than me) and she got me a childrens handwriting book because i have, in her words 'doctors handwriting'. i would say everything we got eachother but long story short we both got laughs from it. i put way more work into mine though

It IS a weird thing to consider, that something which is presented as a gift to welcome you, could be racist. Don't we enjoy shopping for someone's present and then find the perfect thing for that person? Don't we put in extra effort to make the gift really fit their taste? This gift basket was a well-thought action of pleasing someone. That certain cultures enjoy certain foods/beverages more then others, is normal. To consider their preferences is kind. But to add a card of their worst enemy indeed makes it a dire threat.

If you are in Texas, tell me the city and I'll give you some places that are amazing. I make my own queso and chips. I char the serrano, jalapeno, and habanero peppers myself. Yes, I enjoy a bit of heat. I tried Carolina Reapers before but that just made tasty pain. I love the fruity notes but after 20 minutes of searing pain, no thanks. When I say pain it's not like it's hot. It's like someone is taking a blowtorch to your tongue, for 20 minutes.
